You’ll prepare 4 classic Panamanian cocktails - each one paired with a small dish you’ll make and taste on the spot, turning the class into a relaxed gathering in a friend’s kitchen than a formal class.
As you mix and cook, your host shares stories, techniques, and everyday traditions that connect each recipe to Panama’s Caribbean roots. Everything is taught step by step, making it easy to follow whether you’ve mixed cocktails before or not.
By the end, you’ll leave with simple recipes you can recreate anywhere, new skills to impress friends back home, and the memory of one of Panama City’s most vibrant nights in an authentic local setting.

Prepare and enjoy 4 authentic Panamanian cocktails with a fun local host while you also make 4 matching appetizers that pair with each drink. As soon as you finish mixing a cocktail, the appetizer you just prepared comes out of the kitchen, and you taste them together - creating a smooth, natural flow of cooking, sipping, and enjoying. 5.00Wow, what an amazing experience! This absolutely exceeded my expectations for the night. Chef Tanya welcomed us into her home as if we were family and shared with us some of the wonderful culture that makes up Panamanian food and drink. Because we were in a group, the cooking experience could be as much or as little as you wanted it to be, but Tanya made sure to include everyone and gave us all the opportunity to participate in the process. She taught us some kitchen tips and tricks and showed us some special ingredients important in Panamanian cooking. The appetizers we made were the best we had all trip and it was so fun to make everything and socialize. It felt like an intimate dinner party experience and I highly recommend it. In fact, I would 100% do this again if I ever get the opportunity to visit Panama again someday!

5.00We had an amazing time. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. Tanya was always there to guide us as we prepared the food and drinks. The food we prepared was flavorful, made from local ingredients, and very fresh. The appetizers we made turned out amazing, and by the end, we were stuffed as if we had a full meal. The drinks were also really good, we are looking forward to preparing them for family and friends when we return home. Tanya was very friendly, we felt welcomed and at home. By the time we left, it felt as if we had known each other for years.

5.00I had such an amazing time at Tanya’s Panamanian Drinks and Appetizers Workshop in Panama City! The food was absolutely delicious, and I even tried ceviche for the first time — it was incredible! The experience was super hands-on, interactive, and a lot of fun. Tanya made everyone feel comfortable and involved throughout the class. I’ll definitely be booking again next time I’m in Panama!
