We will pick you up from your hotel to begin the tour to the Ballestas Islands + Paracas National Reserve
1.- First visit:
Arrival at Puerto del Chaco.
We board the gliders heading to the Ballestas Islands.
We will visit:
The candelabrum.
Rocky formations.
Profile of Christ.
Arc of the three wishes.
Sea lion maternity.
Guano birds (Tarcillo, Boobies, Humboldt penguins).
2.- Second Visit:
Land circuit to the Paracas National Reserve.
Paracas interpretation room (Marine flora and fauna).
Punta Santa María.
Red Beach (deep red sands).
Lagunilla Beach (turquoise waters)
Spa.
Return: To the Plaza de Armas of Ica.

07:00 am: The Transport with the Tourist guide will go through the hotels picking up the clients to Start the Tours.
Islas Ballestas
08:30 am: We will arrive at the Chaco pier where we will board a slider that will take us to the Ballestas Islands, on the way you will be able to observe the enigmatic figure "El Candelabro", later we will observe seagulls, cormorants, Humboldt penguins, as well as wolves marine fish that are commonly found resting on rock formations.

4.00The view of the wildlife ( birds and sea lions mainly) were great. The ride was very wet. Lots of sea spray. Recommend wearing rainwear and rain pants. Waterproof hat and protect your backpack with the rain cover. Had to keep my camera in a zip lock bag and use it only when the boat is not moving when viewing close to the islands. The sand storms were really blowing in the Paracas reserve that the views were foggy and sand was in your eyes, ears and nose. A neck buff would have been good. This was in late June. Weather was clear but windy. Most of the tour was in Spanish but you just need to follow the excited pointing gestures to know which side to look. I happen to have the right gear ( was not forewarned by the guide). Some were drenched and cold, but were still smiling throughout.

4.00Nice visit overall. However, communication was average. They picked us up 30 minutes in advance and 3 of them contacted us to tell us to hurry, that they could not wait... at 6:30 in the morning. Otherwise, after asking the company, we were told they were taking us back to the same place, but we were left in Ica where we had to take a taxi (30 PEN) back to the hotel.

2.00You should avoid and find a tour directly at Ica ! The organisation was very bad, the agency told us 7:00am for the pick up but they were here at 5:50. The bus was very old and uncomfortable. And the boat tour is only in spanish. For the lunch, for sure not comprise in the trip price, the only option was a very expansive restaurant. Despite this very bad organisation and VERY expensive price, the activities were good with the boat tour and then the reserve visit.

5.00The landscapes, the views and the contrast of colors between the desert and the sea make the view simply indescribable, which feels like the end of the world, but also like the beginning of it.
