Parenzana is a unique cycling trail built on the route of a former narrow-gauge railway connecting Trieste and Poreč. Today, it takes you through Istria’s stunning landscapes—vineyards, olive groves, and hilltop towns like Motovun and Grožnjan. Riding through old tunnels and across historic viaducts, you’ll experience a blend of nature, history, and adventure. Quiet, scenic, and full of character, Parenzana is perfect for relaxed exploration.

5.00We thoroughly enjoyed our day with our guide Daniel. He was very friendly and interesting. The bikes were excellent, a lovely route, it was strenuous at times but well worth it. The food/wine at the restaurant at the end was delicious and with a lovely view. We would thoroughly recommend this trip.

5.00What an incredible ride! Based on the rave reviews, we reached out to Danjel 6 months before our trip and he was very responsive in helping us plan our day. We travelled from Buje to Motovun along the Parenzana trail, and Danjel was the perfect guide with a great mix of working with each person's skill level, sharing with us the history and significance of the region, a great sense of humor, and flexibility in pick up and drop off spots that worked for our schedule. We rented one manual MTB and 3 E-MTB bikes, helmets included!
