Welcome to the City of Lights! Paris is the capital of France and was the most visited city for several times in history. It didn't steal its name as Paris is full of wonders. Here, several famous buildings are standing. In this tour, you will have the chance to visit some of those sublime places. We will start at the Sainte-Chapelle, neighbor of the Cathedral of Notre-Dame de Paris. Then, we will go to the largest museum in the world, le Louvre, walking by the romantic Pont des Arts. Our adventure will lead us to the artistic Jardin des Tuileries and the Place de la Concorde. Finally, you will have the chance to walk by the worldwide famous Avenue des Champs-Elysées before discovering the impressive architecture of the Grand Palais.

Sainte-Chapelle

The Sainte-Chapelle also called the Holy Chapel in English is a beautiful Gothic-style church located at the center of Paris, not far from the Cathedral of Notre-Dame. Built in 1238, the chapel is considered as one of the best buildings of Gothic architecture. Sainte-Chapelle was the home of one of the most important relics of Christianity: Christ's Crown of Thorns. Here, you will have the chance to look at its impressive 13th-century stained glass. It is a beautiful piece of art with florid style tracer.

Pont des Arts

If you wish for a wonderful view of the Seine, you will love walking by the Pont des Arts. This pedestrian bridge crosses the Seine river, linking the French Institute to the Louvre Museum. The Pont des Arts will please your romantic side. It has been featured in many films and TV shows thanks to its unique outlook. Indeed, since late 2008 to 2018, the bridge was covered in padlocks, also called love locks. Tourists used to write their name on them before attaching them to the side of the bridge and then throwing the key in the Seine.
