With the help of your native host, you will learn to make pasta from scratch and cook it according to our local recipes. Our host will teach you about the regional traditions, culture and history.

You will learn to make fresh pasta from scratch and cook it according to traditional recipes. In the end, we will have a typical meal altogether, inclusive of appetizers and vegetables from our small garden. We believe in respecting the seasonality of all products and only cook with local ingredients. The experience will be accompanied by narrations of our culture and regional traditions. We are able to accommodate different diet restrictions, just please communicate them well ahead. During summer is possible to host the experience in the beach house located 700mt from Faraglioni Sant'Andrea, 10 Km from Otranto, and you can also enjoy the see

Paula welcomed us into her home like we were long last relatives. We had a wonderful time discussing both the history of food in the area and the importance of a healthy diet. Then it was off to making the pasta which was great fun and Paula was so patient as we fumbled about trying to get it made properly. Afterwards we cooked up a delightful meal filled with great conversations. Loved the experience and would highly recommend it.

What a fantastic evening we had at Paola. She knows a lot about the history of the region and the food and is a good storyteller. It was a lot of fun to learn how to make pasta and we ate it afterwards with a good glass of wine. We recommend everyone to go to Paola!

What an amazing experience!! I had so much talking and learning about the region and history while learning to make some of the most delicious pasta dishes I’ve had while in Italy. Very fresh. In addition to the art of making different local pastas, cooking a delicious sauce and eating together, Paola is a warm, sweet woman with a broad knowledge of the history of the region. It was a very nice and educational workshop.
