5.00Giulio is a great chef: even if you thought you knew everything about making pasta, with him you will learn to improve your technique. Class is dynamic and fun, laughter is guaranteed. While a tourist class, it is a more local vibe, making it an excellent choice to meet new people on a Friday or Saturday night.

5.00This cooking class was one of the highlights of my trip to Florence. The chef was patient, passionate, and full of interesting tips about Italian cuisine. We enjoyed an amazing meal at the end, and I left feeling inspired with ideas to recreate recipes at home. A must to anyone visiting Florence.

5.00Such an amazing experience!! Absolute highlight of my Italy trip!! What first captured me was Giulio’s energy as he welcomed us in with warmth and humor. He made all of us feel comfortable almost immediately. Giulio’s also a great singer and dancer, who knows what other hidden talents he has!! The pasta making part of the class was both fun and educational, as you actually get a taste of the Italian culture, instead of just scratching the surface as a tourist. We ended the class with Giulio cooking for us the pasta we made, and that was amazing too… really 11/10 would recommend

5.00Attending the cooking class was a spur of the moment decision due to the weather that day and we didn’t regret it at all. entering Gulios restaurant is like entering his home. He greets you with a warm smile and sitting down at one of the lovely tables makes you feel like you’re a guest in his living room. We made pasta that day. It is not so much about recipies, but he explains patiently how you mix your egg with the flour, how you then try to make a decent dough using nothing but love and a fork to squish it down to the wooden board and how the wooden board plays an important role in your dough turning into proper pasta dough. Everything is supported by his humor and loads of singing. He says he wants to bring people together and makes them leave like family. And he’s successful with that. We entered strangers and left with a warm smile, feeling like friends and family. A definite recommendation and the favorite part of our trip to Italy. We‘ll do it again.
