*If you are planning to take the Shinkansen (bullet train) after the tour, please purchase your ticket after the tour on the day, or book a Shinkansen ticket after 6:30pm.
*From February 16 to 21, 2026, the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum will be closed due to exhibit replacement. During this period, we will visit an alternative site, the Hiroshima National Peace Memorial Hall for the Atomic Bomb Victims. Please note that no refunds will be issued due to this change.

Atomic Bomb Dome
The Atomic Bomb Dome, located in Hiroshima, Japan, is a preserved ruin of the Hiroshima Prefectural Industrial Promotion Hall, which was near the epicenter of the atomic bombing on August 6, 1945. The building’s skeletal structure, with its distinctive dome, remains as a poignant symbol of the devastation caused by nuclear warfare. It was designated a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1996, serving as a reminder of the horrors of war and a call for global peace and the abolition of nuclear weapons.

5.00We had an incredible experience on the Hiroshima tour with Tomo as our guide. From start to finish, Tomo was professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about sharing the history and culture of Hiroshima. What truly made the tour special was Tomo’s ability to present the historical events with deep respect and sensitivity while also helping us understand the resilience and spirit of the city today. Her explanations at the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park and surrounding sites were clear, insightful, and very moving. It was obvious that she has a deep understanding of the history and cares deeply about helping visitors appreciate its significance. Tomo was also very friendly and approachable. She encouraged questions, shared interesting stories and local perspectives, and made sure everyone in the group felt comfortable and engaged throughout the tour. If you are visiting Hiroshima, I highly recommend taking a tour with Tomo. 5.00It was a good trip, conducted briskly and ably by Tomome. She not only ensured we saw all the highlights well (by taking us to Miyajima first since it would get crowded in the 2nd half of the day) and kept us informed about many interesting things, in her witty and charming way. Strongly recommend this tour!

5.00What a trip!!! Emotional rollercoaster and very thought provoking. Hiroshima was amazing. The museum was so sad but definitely worth a visit and the architecture that still stood after the bomb was fantastic. We saw so much. Then we moved onto the ferry across to Miyajima and that was beautiful. We had a lovely lunch and a good walk around. Saw some stunning cherry blossoms and the floating gate. What made the whole trip and experience so much better was Mo. She was so passionate and had so much information it was like she knew it all first hand. She has a great personality and kept the trip interesting the whole time. Thank you Mo. You were fantastic. Wishing you well in the future.

5.00Mo is absolutely the best tour guide in Japan. Backpacking through the length and width of Japan for a few weeks and I booked tours in every region. Up until I took Mo’s Hiroshima tour, I had been disappointed. Every other tour company/guide was like paying for a bus ride to be dropped off at one area or another. This Hiroshima tour was COMPLETELY different. Mo’s energy and care and knowledge was phenomenal. Although the tour was supposed to be self-guided, she gave us awesome and helpful commentary throughout each activity that enabled us to squeeze the most from each place in the time we had. The value for this trip was top notch. It felt like a luxury experience. I was skeptical of the quality of tours after being previously disappointed from other companies and other guides throughout Tokyo, Osaka, etc. but Mo is an exception. I would join any tour she ran and I will definitely be sticking with Japan Panoramic Tours from now on. Do not hesitate to take this tour and choose NO OTHER TOUR COMPANY. If you get Mo as a guide, consider yourself fortunate because she is so amazing.
