Why not combine our two most popular tours into one? See the sights of the historic port city of Halifax and then take in the famous breathtaking sights of Peggy's Cove.
Our tour would commence from Pier 21 with its Historic block as the "Ellis Island" of Canada, where more than one million immigrants came through and more than 500,000 left from during WWII.
From there we will visit St. Paul's Church, the oldest Anglican church in Canada. As well, St. Paul's Church was among some of the buildings that withstood the Great Halifax Explosion of 1917. We will drive on to Fort Needham Hill where a memorial carillon was built for the victims of that explosion. Then we'll be on to Canada's most famous lighthouse.
Peggy's Cove is one of the most unique, captivating and exhilarating eye-openers in Nova Scotia. The quaint seaside hamlets of Shad Bay, Big Lake, East Dover and West Dover, to mention but a few, are also breathtaking.

5.00Jonathan is the best! He was knowledgeable, funny, kind and accommodating. Lots of history and info about Halifax and Peggy’s cove. We would happily tour with him and Aberdeen tours again. 11/10!

5.00Our guide Jonathan was amazing! He took great care of us from start to finish. Very informative (and fun) dialogue. We loved all the stops, especially Peggy’s Cove-so charming! Our guide recommended a wonderful restaurant that we thoroughly enjoyed (beer and lobster, enough said!) Viator was great to work with, awesome communication and booking process. Thanks for a great experience!

5.00Dress warmly and enjoy seafood at Peggy’s cove. Our tour guy was an English fella and was funny and very informative. 5stars for him!

5.00Just finished tour & back on bus. A little confusing at first since they can't pick up with cruise lines tour buses. They were right behind them at parking lot. We were one of a few smaller buses (26 max) and had Richard as our guide, he did a great job. We saw much of the city & heard of its history, had a nice stop at a park/gardens, had an hour at Peggy's Cove (plenty time to have great lobster rolls and take some great pictures, stopped at the Titanic grave area, and was left at front door of where we began. Overall, this was exactly as advertised and much better than the cruise's tour we took the previous day going to Kennebunk. Highly recommend!

1.00Aberdeen Tours over promised and under delivered The tour guide had very little knowledge of certain parts of the tours, especially the Titanic Cemetery.

1.00Joel the bus driver was great. The tour operator however woul start a story and stop. Finally heard the entire story of the Christmas tree to Boston!! Talked about a memorial for a plane crash in have no idea where , what side of the bus to look for it. The cemetery we were told there it is get off the bus!! We listened to another tour guide point out interesting facts!!! She spent a lot of time talking to people up front asking questions we would hear an answer and laughter have no idea what they were talking about. Very disappointed. Very confusing finding the tour also in the rain walked back and forth for a while. Peggy's Cove was beautiful again told to get off the bus here we are.
Aberdeen makes it so smooth to find the tour from a cruise ship! Phenomenal info!

5.00From an NCL cruise Aberdeen Bus tour was easy (pickup at the pier) well organized and phenomenal with the best tour guide, Maime Christine and Rob the driver ! Due to a nor'easter this stop was changed and we were notified they knew it and would be there when we finally arrived! Maime's knowledge was so worth this tour, I highly recommend it. We are in our 70's and had no problems even bringing a walker. They are the best to see all of Halifax & Peggys Cove!
