Why not combine our two most popular tours into one? See the sights of the historic port city of Halifax and then take in the famous breathtaking sights of Peggy's Cove.
Our tour would commence from Pier 21 with its Historic block as the "Ellis Island" of Canada, where more than one million immigrants came through and more than 500,000 left from during WWII.
From there we will visit St. Paul's Church, the oldest Anglican church in Canada. As well, St. Paul's Church was among some of the buildings that withstood the Great Halifax Explosion of 1917. We will drive on to Fort Needham Hill where a memorial carillon was built for the victims of that explosion. Then we'll be on to Canada's most famous lighthouse.
Peggy's Cove is one of the most unique, captivating and exhilarating eye-openers in Nova Scotia. The quaint seaside hamlets of Shad Bay, Big Lake, East Dover and West Dover, to mention but a few, are also breathtaking.

5.00One of the only tours we did while in Halifax and we are glad we didn't skip. The views from the cove were breathtaking though was scared to venture off too close to the water as the waves were crashing non-stop. Our guide, Mamie, was beyond enthusiastic and really seemed to love her job and sharing her history with the passengers. We also enjoyed the jokes made along the drive from Jonathan - we had a wonderful time and the only thing we'd change is possibly going when it's a bit warmer. I guess we will have to return one summer!

5.00Jonathan is the best! He was knowledgeable, funny, kind and accommodating. Lots of history and info about Halifax and Peggy’s cove. We would happily tour with him and Aberdeen tours again. 11/10!

5.00Our guide Jonathan was amazing! He took great care of us from start to finish. Very informative (and fun) dialogue. We loved all the stops, especially Peggy’s Cove-so charming! Our guide recommended a wonderful restaurant that we thoroughly enjoyed (beer and lobster, enough said!) Viator was great to work with, awesome communication and booking process. Thanks for a great experience!

5.00Just finished tour & back on bus. A little confusing at first since they can't pick up with cruise lines tour buses. They were right behind them at parking lot. We were one of a few smaller buses (26 max) and had Richard as our guide, he did a great job. We saw much of the city & heard of its history, had a nice stop at a park/gardens, had an hour at Peggy's Cove (plenty time to have great lobster rolls and take some great pictures, stopped at the Titanic grave area, and was left at front door of where we began. Overall, this was exactly as advertised and much better than the cruise's tour we took the previous day going to Kennebunk. Highly recommend!

1.00Aberdeen Tours over promised and under delivered The tour guide had very little knowledge of certain parts of the tours, especially the Titanic Cemetery.
