On this 4-hour sea kayak excursion, we will explore a secret cave along with some coves, and sandy beaches of East Pelion while kayaking along the shore of one of its most unspoiled parts.
Kayaking is a truly unique way of exploring Pelion. Not just because it is the best way to visit the off-the-beaten-path part of the coast, but also because there is something stunning about the view of the mountain from the sea. That’s why we created a kayak excursion for people who look for a slow travel adventure full of powerful moments.

We will meet at the beach of Chorefto where after a short brief, we will jump on our colourful sit-on-top kayaks, our vessel for the day. After some training along the rocky shore, we paddle southwards, to explore a secret sea cave, enjoy the wild coast and take in the sublime scenery along the way to Plaka; an organized beach with translucent waters where we will have our break. After the break, we will slowly paddle back towards Chorefto, to a small secluded beach tucked away behind a dramatic rock. There we will stop for a swim and some rest before we get back on our kayaks to continue our way back to the starting point of the excursion. If you are looking for an exciting adventure or simply want to explore some unknown gems of the east coast of Pelion then this experience will not let you down.

All Fees and Taxes
A salad snack with tomatoes, olive oil, feta, oregano and bread cracker as well as seasonal fruit will be offered during the experience.

5.00We had an amazing kayak trip as a family! It was the perfect balance — fun and a bit challenging, but never too hard. The scenery is beautiful, and the guide was excellent, sharing interesting stories along the way. We went with our two kids (ages 9 and 11). Our 11-year-old loved the paddling experience, while our 9-year-old mostly relaxed and enjoyed the ride. Highly recommended for families!

4.00Special experience, Giorgos makes the whole trip special, Recommend to book in advance and hope for good weather. Our original date had rough weather, but Maria rescheduled it in another day of our convenience.

5.00We booked a private kayaking cruise to 4 with PELION SCOUT. There was an amazing experience - everything was organized and arranged, the Yorgos guide was very nice and professional, explained the area and history, the beaches were amazing, the stop in the cave was experiential and the stops in the bathing coves were most enjoyable and refreshing. We had a great time and warmly recommend.

5.00A really fun, unique and memorable experience. Meticulously organised and adapted to safely suit a family outing with varying levels of ability. Even the teens loved it, learning new skills while discovering a hidden world we would otherwise never have found. Giorgios is such an engaging and informative guide. He even managed, on the rocks, to prepare and serve a delicious Greek salad as an energising snack before we paddled to our last stop, a deserted sandy beach where we swam in crystal clear turquoise waters. We would do it all again asap. Warmly recommended.

5.00We won the Secret cave sea kayak tour on Instagram give away in July and we are absolutely mesmerized by it! It made our day and it's so much fun! Jorgos, the tour leader, is a true professional and such a kind guy, the salad he made for all of us was delicious. We would definitely recommend this tour to everyone!😊🌊

5.00The kayak trip experience was exeptioal and amazing from A-Z . Amazing experience for familys in Pelion. The guide George was amazing and highly professional. He is not only a great Kayaking guide but is also very kind intelegent and knowledgable about the area. Experiencing pelion with him and listening to his stories added a great added value to the experience.

5.00I had a fantastic kayak trip with Pelion Scout! Giorgos is a very good, knowledgeable and engaged guide who showed us amazing beaches and a wonderful cave. He has an obvious admiration and respect for the surroundings of Pelion and it was inspiring to see and hear all about it. And his partner Myrto made us an amazing Greek salad to enjoy by the sea. I would definitely recommend this experience!
