Chaiya Mangalaram Thai Buddhist Temple
Chayamangkalaram Temple, Dhammikarama Burmese Temple, Streets of George Town - UNESCO World Heritage Site. Wat Chayamangkalaram is a Thai Temple in Penang famous for its large gold plated Reclining Buddha (not a Sleeping Buddha), which at 33 metres, is one of the largest in the world
Then you will also visit Penang Hill where you will ride a funicular train to its peak at 833m above sea level to enjoy a spectacular panoramic view of Georgetown and mainland Butterworth. Colonial bungalows can be found around this hill due to the British preferring to stay in a cooler climate compared to the hot and humid environment in the city.

5.00Our tour with Anson was exceptional from beginning to end. His warm personality and thoughtfulness made every stop special. We started with incredible views from Penang Hill, followed by a peaceful walk along the rainforest canopy. He guided us through the impressive Kek Lok Si Temple and then took us to both the Thai and Burmese Buddhist temples, explaining the cultural differences in a clear and engaging way. We ended in vibrant Little India, which was a perfect finale. Anson’s knowledge, enthusiasm, and attention to detail made this one of the best tours we’ve taken anywhere. Cannot recommend him highly enough

5.00Hi a great tour if you are in Penang for just a few days. Shawn was fabulous and a great guide, he steadied my nerves at Penang Hill (I’m not great at heights) and was very attentive and so full of knowledge! Highly recommend.

5.00Our driver G-Shen was amazing, so very knowledgeable. Nothing was too much - if we wanted to spend more or less time somewhere, he even accommodated my request to stop in a location not on the actual tour.
