Our Lady of the Rocks

Our Lady of the Rocks, which stands proudly in front of the Old Town of Perast, is one of two charming islands located in the Bay of Kotor. It is considered one of the main tourist attractions in this part of the Adriatic sea – because of the legend of its origin and unreal beauty. According to tradition, the Lady of Rocks was built at the place where the Moršić brothers found an image of the Mother of God. The citizens of Perast threw stones around the cliffs and built a small chapel. Later they continued to bring stones to the island, which made it grow bigger and bigger over time.

Beautiful day on the water. Montenegro is so beautiful from every angle. Cannot wait to come back. Our boat tour guide was informative and a great driver.
From start to finish a wonderful experience taking in all that Kotor Bay had to offer. Excellent captain.
