  Could not fault this trip. I was apprehensive about going to Jordan but it had been amazing and haven’t felt unsafe whatsoever and it’s the most beautiful place. Our guide Mustafa made this trip. He was so friendly and couldn’t do more for us. He stopped the car so we got beautiful photos, he brought us coffees and refused to let us pay. He is a real proud Jordanian with such a wealth of knowledge. I’d pay twice the price for this tour, it was amazing

  Form the very start we knew we had booked the best tour we could have, our driver Mustafa Orabi was exceptional, his knowledge and kindness humbled us, he clearly loves his country and wants people to visit, always with a smile on his face. There was nothing more that Mustafa or our tour guide Mohammed could have done for us. Mohammed was excellent, his knowledge of Petra was extensive, taking time with us to take pictures and tour round at our own pace. We couldn’t have asked for better. I would like to add that Mustafa also stopped on our way home so we could get pictures of the sunset (and even bought us a coffee, which he really didn’t have to do) this was without asking as he just wanted us to have a great day. We really felt like we were part of his family. Top tour. Thank you Mustafa and Mohammed. Definitely recommend!!

  Absolutely amazing, I was unwell the day we were supposed to go so they rescheduled for us for the next day for no charge. Driver was so friendly and stopped along the way and way back so we could get out and take photos. He waited for an extra hour at Petra for us too. The tour guide was unbelievable was the most amazing experience

  

• Excellent private tour of Petra from the dead sea. Recommend you do it from Amman

  We really enjoyed having our own private tour and driver and not having to consider anyone else. Saber was a fantastic driver and host. He arrived on time in an air-conditioned vehicle with cold water waiting. Saber told us historic stories about Jordan and Petra as we drove and he allowed us to go at our own pace. He waited for us while we did the tour and he also stopped at various locations to show us the views. Our private tour guide was also really good. He spoke good English and was so knowledgeable about the history of Petra. Driver and tour guide both highly recommended. Also recommended is staying in Amman near the Citadel (we had a couple hours there and it was so vibrant and fantastic) instead of a dead sea resort (where you are captive to staying in that resort and paying premium prices for everything. Also there was nothing exciting really happening there except the swim in the dead sea). I also say this because we drove back past amman airport to get to the highway to go to Petra.

  Clean comfortable car, knowledgeable driver all made for a smooth tour. Highly recommend. Loved how we could go at our pace and stop along the way as needed. Well worth while and would do again in a heart beat.

  Great experience from start to finish. Our driver, Moawiah, was incredibly polite, knowledgeable and even helped us squeeze in an extra stop not part of our original itinerary that made for some great memories. Allie, our guide, was incredibly thorough in his explanation of Petra's history and took some incredible pictures of us. Thanks!

  Our driver, Tayseer was really great. He arrived on time, and provided excellent service. The car had WiFi, which was extremely helpful. We took a scenic route through the mountains, where we stopped to look at some extra sites along the way. He could tell us a lot about the areas and was happy to stop for us to take some photos, as well as taking us to get some unique local bread. He also provided us with waters before going into Petra. After a long day of walking he had ice cold water waiting for us in the car as well. Our tour guide at Petra, Basil (I may have this wrong) really made visiting Petra a memorable experience. He was very informative, a great story teller, and took lots of photos for us to remember the trip. He was happy to answer our questions and to give advice on how to spend our free time after the tour. If you plan on going to the Monastery at the end, make sure that you have comfortable shoes, and budget around 40 minutes each way. Overall, it was an amazing experience, that I can definitely recommend. Some notes on Petra: Although I enjoyed the trip, I feel that it would be better to have more time in Petra, maybe by staying the night before/after in a nearby hotel. This would allow you to see everything without being too rushed. I found the entrance fees for Petra on the visitjordan website

  We were absolutely thrilled with our Petra day trip with driver Tayseer and guide Sammy. After reading the wonderful TA reviews of Petra Nights Tour, I had already expected a professional, comfortable and quality tour experience which PNT did not disappoint to provide. We received timely communication about our itinerary and driver details before the tour, and were delighted by our comfortably air conditioned car complete with water, Wifi, and DVD entertainment. Our driver Tayseer was incredibly friendly and thoughtful, providing us with a pre-programmed Jordanian phone we could use to contact him and stopping along the way to highlight interesting landmarks and sites along with their historical significance. What exceeded my expectations was how Tayseer and Sammy looked after our interests and shared their knowledge and culture genuinely; Tayseer delighted us with stopping for freshly baked (we watched the woman take it out of the stone oven)
