Both of them have created a special attraction for the “Kingdom of the caves”, Phong Nha Ke Bang National Park. Nowadays, there are a lot of tourists not only domestic but also international coming to visit and admire their beauty. If you are a person who likes exploring caves, Phong Nha is really an ideal place for you.

* Detailed time plan: 07:45- 08:00: Our car and tour guide will pick up guests at their hotel in Dong Hoi. From there, you will be taken to the Dark cave (located in Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park). -OR – 8:45-9:10: Our driver will pick you up at your hotel in Phong Nha village, then transfer you to Dark Cave (located in Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park). Participate in the many adventure activities: zip line, mudbath, kayak, swimming, etc. (65 km from the city, about a 60 minute drive). Activities: mud bath, ziplining, swimming, kayaking, adventure course, caving etc. 12:30: Lunch at local restaurant in Phong Nha village. Here you will enjoy a traditional vietnamese dish. Vegetarian option available. Please contact us in advance if you have any dietary restrictions and we will do our best to accommodate you. 13:30 Depart for your exploration of the most impressive Phong Nha caves. You will then take a 25 minute ride to the cave via traditional dragonboat. This cave is called a water cave as it boasts an underground river. After going into the cave by boat, you will explore 300 meters into the cave on foot. Then, you will be taken back by boat. This cave is famous for its spectacular rock formations. It has been given names such as the “Lion”, the “Fairy Caves”, the “Royal Court”, and the “Buddha”… 16:00 Back to Dong Hoi or Phong Nha Village. Tour ends when you will be dropped off at your hotel. ****Please be sure to bring: swimwear and towel. Lockers for your belongings will be provided with a 50,000 deposit which will be refunded upon return of the locker key. Using the zipline requires you to be 40-90kg. No exceptions. Tour inclusion: Free pick up service from 6:30 am to 7:30 am at the train or bus station; if required Free luggage storage in our Dong Hoi office –or- take it with you in our van (limited quantity; contact us to reserve) Pick up and drop off by van in Dong Hoi city or Phong Nha village. Dark cave is an adventurous and action-packed experience. Visiting this cave includes harnessed zip lining over a turquoise river, swimming into the mouth of the cave (lifejackets included), walking through the dark with only the head torch on your mining helmet to illuminate the way, having a mud fight in the buoyant mud baths deep in the cave, washing clean with a swim in the lake inside the cave, then kayaking back across the river to test your strength on the hanging obstacle course and open ziplines.

3.00I was quite underwhelmed with this tour- especially for the price. The guides weren’t great, we finished up at Dark cave quickly and waited around doing nothing for an hour and a half then went and had lunch then onto Phong Nha cave. Definitely not worth the money. I have been in several amazing tours here for much cheaper.

4.00Great trip. Dark cave expereince was really good. Phong ma caves were not as amazing as it was hyped to be! I believe the tour guide could have explained more about the history pf caves and how these caves are formed.

5.00This was an absolutely incredible day. We booked the Dark Cave tour but the way they run the tours is you do one in the morning and a second in the afternoon. We were also given the choice to change the caves we went to if we wanted so it was all super casual and easygoing which was great. As it was raining in the morning we did Paradise Cave then and in the afternoon some did dark cave and some did phong nha cave as these involve more outdoor adventure elements so was good to have the dry weather. As others reviewers have said you need to bring a towel and swimmers for the dark cave tour. It’s so much fun and full of variety, doing the zip line towards the cave entrance, then you swim there and swim through the cave, then you trek through the cave for the mud bath, and then return and kayak back to the start. For those who weren’t strong swimmers there was a paddle board to sit on for the swimming sections. The food at lunchtime was amazing and had a meat and a vegetarian platter. Our guide Victor was excellent, super friendly and lots to point out on our way to the caves. Overall just a fantastic day I can’t recommend it enough.

5.00This is a good tour, the cages are breath taking and the tour guides are very friendly and helpful. I do wish however that more information was available on TripAdvisor. If you weigh more than 90 kgs you cannot participate in the zipline activities. Also, you need to pack swimmers, a change of clothes and a towel. We did dark cave first which has the mud bath and a lot of swimming activities.. you require to dry yourself and get changed prior to heading to paradise cave. Also, if it's wet weather, you will need a rain coat. Apart from not having all the information available, the tour is definitely worth doing! Do yourself a favour and explore this amazing national park.

5.00Phong Nha Cave is a gift by nature. Viewing to rock formation is really amazing. Mudbath is impressive, my family having fun and excitement at same time. Our local guide Hoa is so friendly and she has excellent skills to allocate all of our teams to get safe n fun.Thank you Hoa.Recommended tour for family with young adult 13+ age group 🏃🏃♀️🤼♂️🧑🤝🧑👭. Peace ✌️

5.00We loved our dark cave day - our tour guides Chocolate and Pinky (their nicknames!) were knowledgeable and kind, and led us on a fun day of zip lining, kayaking, touring caves, finding a mudbath, and playing around in a fun water obstacle course. We had a great day and would absolutely book this tour again.
