Visit World Heritage listed K’gari (Fraser Island) with Pippies’ K’gari Adventures on the ultimate Australian beach 4×4 driving and camping adventure. Led by an experienced and knowledgeable guide, you can opt to experience 4×4 driving yourself in one of our tag-along vehicles whilst visiting the most amazing freshwater lakes and ancient rainforests. Take in the sapphire water of Lake McKenzie set against some of the world’s purest sand. Bathe in the bubbling Champagne Pools. View the Maheno shipwreck stranded along 75mile beach set against the incredible coloured sands. Float down the famous Eli Creek on an inflatable tube. Be sure to look out for the wild dingo’s on your 3 day 2 night K’gari Adventure, we will make sure you see the most of this island paradise.

Leave Pippies Beachhouse 7am sharp, our Fraser Island Tours kicks off with a 20min barge ride from Inskip Point to Fraser Island. Drive in awe up the first portion of 75 mile beach to Eurong. We then head inland towards Lake McKenzie Arrive at Lake McKenzie and take a dip in these incredibly pure, clear waters. Words do not do this amazing lake any justice.
Central Station Rainforest
Drive to Central Station where we eat lunch and walk along the waters of the very special Wanggoolba Creek. Learn Fraser Island’s history in a time before this beautiful island was protected. We then leave for a drive back to 75-mile beach and onto Pippies camp.
Arrive at our incredible campsite and chill after a long day. Then head up to Corrigin Sandblow for an amazing sunset! (Pippies are the only tour group to have access) Dinner time! Cook a BBQ together with your new Fraser Family and spend the night socialising together next to a campfire or under the covered seating area.

Champagne Pools
Wake up early (hangovers are no excuse!) to a simple, easy breakfast of toast and cereal before getting back in the cars to head further north. Arrive at the Champagne Pools to cleanse under awesome waves crashing over into the natural rock pools, creating the bubbly “champagne.” Then back to the cars again for a short drive to our next destination.
Eli Creek
A short drive down the beach is the largest creek on the Eastern Beach; Eli Creek. Take a walk up the boardwalk with a rubber ring and float down these serene waters. Eli Creek pumps up to 4 million litres of fresh water into the sea every hour!
Maheno Ship Wreck
The second to last location of the day is a short drive from Eli Creek and Pippies’ Fraser Island Tours camp; the Maheno shipwreck. As the sun lowers in the sky watch the rusty wreck against the sea sky and incredible coloured sands seen up the coast. Finally, a short stop at The Pinnacles on the way back to Pippies camp. Seen from the beach this sand formation is a prime example of the coloured sands seen all up the Fraser Coast.

Wake up for your last day in paradise! Another quick and simple breakfast before setting off to the final location on our Fraser Island Tours. Please note that itineraries are subject to change due to factors including tides, weather and conditions set out by Queensland National Parks. Drive a moderate distance down the Eastern Beach to the entrance of Lake Wabby. Here we will walk for around 40-45 mins down a beautiful sand track through the bush and out onto the Hammerstone Sandblow. Located a short walk along the sand blow, Lake Wabby is the deepest lake on Fraser Island. So be sure to take a dip and chill next on its shores. After our lunch on the beach, it is time to make our way back to the barge and Rainbow Beach. But not before hunting for the mysterious Eugarie and learning the meaning of our name: Pippies! Arrive back at Pippies Beachhouse in Rainbow Beach between 1pm and 4:30pm. (dependant on the tides) Chill for one last night with your new Fraser Family!

5.00The Pippies K'gari (Fraser Island) tour was easily one of the highlights of my trip to Australia! From start to finish, everything was well organised, fun, and stress-free. The guide, Lukey, was knowledgeable, friendly, and made sure everyone felt included and had an amazing time. We visited some truly breathtaking locations, including stunning lakes, beaches and rainforests. Driving along the beach and seeing the natural beauty of K'gari up close was an unforgettable experience. The group atmosphere was fantastic, and it was easy to make new friends while sharing such an incredible experience. The guides balanced fun with safety perfectly and shared lots of interesting information about the island's history, culture, and wildlife. If you're staying at visiting Rainbow Beach, I highly recommend booking the K'gari tour. It was an unforgettable experience packed with memories that will last a lifetime!

1.00Unfortunately, this was not a great experience dealing with Pippies. I had this trip booked and was really looking forward to it, but it ended up being a stressful ordeal. The customer service was disappointing. The person we spoke to over the phone was not particularly helpful when we were trying to resolve the issues we encountered. To make matters worse, the trip was cancelled on the day it was due to take place, and there were also changes made to the start time that were not communicated clearly in advance. This caused a lot of unnecessary confusion and inconvenience. Thankfully, we were able to book with Dingo's Fraser Island Adventures instead. The experience was night and day. Their customer service was excellent, communication was clear, and their website was much easier to use. Based on my experience, I would not book with Pippies again.

5.00I recently did the 3 days / 2 nights K’Gari tour with Pippies Rainbow Beach and absolutely loved the experience. K’Gari is such a beautiful island with so much to see and do. A very special thank you to our driver Jamie, who truly made the trip unforgettable. He was incredibly friendly, attentive, organised, and always kept everything running perfectly on schedule. Most importantly, he made sure we all felt safe throughout the entire trip. Jamie also prepared all of our meals, took us to stunning locations, and made the whole experience so much fun. He has a great sense of humour and kept everyone entertained the whole time. You can really tell he cares about his job and the people on the tour. He definitely deserves a raise! Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting K’Gari.

5.00My your guide was Luke. An absolute gentleman of a man and an absolute legend. From start to finish he was full of interesting facts, it was really cool to learn stuff I didn’t know. Could not recommend anyone more than to go with pippies and especially Luke. In Newcastle we would call him a pure belter person. Hopefully bump into him again for a few beers and a chat about those pesky dingos. CAR ONE FOR THE WIN
