Mod your own Gameboy (Original/Advance/SP)-right in the country where it was born! More than a workshop - You'll travel back to your childhood, relive your memories, and bring a Gameboy back to life. ・Make your own unique Gameboy (Original/Advance/SP) with various shells and other parts. ・With step-by-step guidance from a gameboy lover guide, you’ll build a Gameboy that reflects your personal style. ・We will lend you a game cartridge to try out your creation. Please return it at the end of the workshop. ・The workshop will take place in Akihabara, Japan’s world-famous area for games, anime, and pop culture. ※Nintendo is not involved with our workshop. 5.00Excellent! Our instructor Bin sent very clear directions on how to get to the meeting spot. The vibe was very cozy and welcoming. The modding experience was very fun and interactive and Bin was always there to help and guide us along the way. There were so many mod selections and every person in our group got to make our own unique game body advance and chose games. A truly wonderful and unique souvenir.

5.00Really great time modding out the gameboy advance, our instructor was really helpfulwith clear instructions and a helping hand when needed. Would definitely recommend! Large selection of pieces to work with so I ended up building something pretty unique.

5.00This was my son's favourite activity during this trip. We thoroughly enjoyed assembling our Gameboys. Brought back so many childhood memories for me. Bin was such an excellent teacher and host, really appreciated that he was super patient with my son. Highly recommend this activity especially for anyone that grew up with the Gameboy.

5.00The experience was a lot of fun, we started with a worn gameboy advance and were able to take it apart, chose our new shell and buttons, and we were able to rewire and solder the parts onto the new shell, it was all very cool, and at the end we were able to pick games that work. (For foreigners, we were given unlocked gameboys which work with any region of games, which was a massive benefit ) the hosts were very friendly and helpful throughout ! Thank you again!

5.00Very friendly, patient, willing to help and fix any issues wrong. Even advised that he will help us with any issues down the road as long as we're in Tokyo. Games are mainly in Japanese though, overall amazing experience 10/10!
