5.00This tour exceeded our expectations and was probably our favourite activity in Playa! Julio was very informative, professional, and personable. He introduced us to some of Playa’s hidden culinary gems. The food was absolutely incredible and the tour itself was very well structured. I can’t recommend this experience enough!

5.00My girlfriend and I did this tour in Playa del Carmen and it ended up being one of the highlights of our trip. Since it was just the two of us, the experience felt really personal and relaxed. Our guide Julio was awesome! He’s super passionate about Mexican food and full of great stories about the history behind the dishes. The standout for me was the Cochinita Pibil, which was incredible. Learning about the traditional preparation and Mayan roots made it even better. We really enjoyed the tequila tasting. A quick stop at the Chocolate Museum was another fun surprise… we actually wished we had more time there. Overall the tour was just over three hours and perfectly paced. If you’re visiting Playa del Carmen and love food, this is absolutely worth doing.

5.00We had a lovely evening with Samira! The food was soooo good and it was really nice to get off the beaten path and learn about the history of the area and get authentic Mexican cuisine. So much better than what is around 5th Ave! A lot of walking but worth it.

5.00We had such an amazing time with Gisipie. He was so knowledgeable. He knew so many interesting factors on the way the food is prepared and spices. We learned so many things. Places to eat that all were very interesting and will go back to them. This is a must tour!!!
