The tour begins by passing through Bokeška Street, the most vibrant street of the city, where we briefly stop at the monument to Marko Miljanov Popović, the second mayor of Podgorica, but also a famous Montenegrin writer and duke from the 19th century. We continue our walk passing popular Podgorica cafes and restaurants on the right, while on the left you will see the buildings of the Podgorica Municipality and the National Theater.
Millennium Bridge
Passing through Njegoš's Park, you reach the Moscow Bridge, from where you can enjoy the most beautiful view of the impressive Millennium Bridge and the Morača River below it. We stop at the monument to Vladimir Vysotsky, a famous Russian actor, poet, singer and writer, which is located on the other side of the river. At that place, the guide will tell you a short story about the bridge, as well as the link between Vladimir Vysotsky and Podgorica.

5.00Aleksander was very accommodating, even waiting for me when my car cancelled and I was late to the meeting spot. The tour was fantastic and very informational. As I was traveling solo, he took photos for me of me in front of the sites. He even escorted me to the tourist office so I could pay my tourist tax for my time in Montenegro. It was a great walk thru many parts of the city and I learned a lot. Aleksander. Is very personable and kind in addition to sharing information and insights about his city and culture. Highly recommend!

5.00Excellent tour of the city. I learned so much from Alesander who really talked to me rather than reciting canned dialogs. It made the rest of my stay more relevant.
