5.00Beautiful experience, shame in the morning on Vesuvius we took a lot of rain, but you can not do anything, nature has decided so, Herculaneum and Pompeii very very beautiful, but Vesuvius crazy

5.00I had a fantastic day at Pompeii and Vesuvius. I am really impressed with our guide Liana. She was fantastic, perfect english, all very clear information and always with a smile. The drivers were on time, everything was impecable. Strongly recommend the company TramVia which did all the transfers. I received the information on whatsapp with all the tickets for skip the queue access to Pompeii well in advance. The team was responding immediately to my messages and any questions. Worth the 5 stars.

Terrible communication about shuttle service

1.00#1) This is not a guided tour. Nobody to even great you at the port to get you where you are supposed to go. #2) communication was not good at all. They sent a picture of the place to get the shuttle and I never saw one. I stood at the spot in the picture and no shuttle for 1/2 hour. #3) I was not able to do the tour because i never found the shuttle and it cost me $280 for NOTHING! #4) Not offered any kind of refund

2.00Pickup at the meeting location and ride was great. We had a good driver (not a guide, so no explanations on scenery etc). The rest of the group in our van had a different tour than us, so we lost almost 2 hours on shuttles to/from their destination. That made Pompeii too short on time for us. Then we got dropped off at Vesuvius at 14:00h while our timed entrance ticket from Viator was for 15:10h. We had to wait 30 Min until the system accepted our ticket. That made for a mad dash to the summit to be back at 16:00h. Would not book that tour again. Saw several hop on-hop off busses, so that might be a better option. Both destinations are definitely worth it.

5.00Our guide was Giovanni who advised about initial meeting point and kept the tour on track during the day. He did a great job of keeping to the schedule. He was assisted by Marco, our driver, who handled Naples traffic and sharp bends on mountain roads for a very smooth ride. At Pompeii, our guide around the ancient site gave a detailed audio description that enhanced the tour. Sorry, but I can't remember her name but for someone who has only been learning English for 6 months, she spoke it very well. Lunch was delicious too.

4.00I had high expectations for the sites themselves and wow were they met! Beautifully preserved Pompeii, and great views from Vesuvius. In terms of the company, they had great communication and even asked if we would like to see Herculaneum at the end of our tour for free, as the other guests in our group were going. Herculaneum was definitely worth the visit as it was even better preserved than Pompeii. This trip is essentially a driver and the entry tickets, there isn't much guidance once you get to the sites but they also gave plenty of time to walk around the sites yourself and get the most out of your visit.
