We start at the south end of the aqueduct and soon enough you are paddling across this famous feat of engineering which stands at an impressive 126ft above the Dee River. Although this style of canoeing is deemed a calm and peaceful session the look over the edge is a breathtaking sight, but with our staff on hand, there is nothing to worry about, especially with a safe footpath on the opposing side.

After this it is then a breeze down the canal, learning and developing skills across the way with some games and challenges thrown in. Our endpoint is the Sun Trevor pub which is a great location for some good quality grub and a cold drink.

Our guide Joe was great! Such a fun experience for anybody, even if you’re a beginner as the instructions are clear and easy to follow. The views are beautiful and we really enjoyed it!

Went on this trip solo so I was paired up with our instructor joe. Joe was funny and informative. He gave us all the tools and the confidence to happily handle the canoe. Perfect peaceful paddle along the canal and breathtaking views from the aqueduct. Highly recommend!

Myself and my partner did this as part of a virgin experience and loved it! Very little experience of canoeing between us, but our guide Harry was very informative and patient with the varied experience in the group. There were eight of us in the group, we had about a mile of canoeing before the aqueduct itself, after the aqueduct we had the chance to walk around underneath/go in the local shop before canoeing back to the start point. Harry’s positivity and enthusiasm throughout the trip made it a really enjoyable experience from start to finish (despite the very wet weather we started in!). Would definitely recommend the company and would have no reservations with booking activities with them in the future.

We had an excellent experience. Harry our guide was very good. He made everyone very welcome, talked through what we were going to do. He put everyone at ease & explained both experienced & non-experienced canoes would have a great time, he was right. Amazing views and Harry gave a good talk about the area. We would highly recommend this tour & Harry.

Kieran was great. I was nervous about canoing but he explained everything really clearly and I soon relaxed into and enjoyed canoeing. The pace was just right, views from the aqueduct just stunning. Recomended if you are a first time or nervous paddler.
