We start at the south end of the aqueduct and soon enough you are paddling across this famous feat of engineering which stands at an impressive 126ft above the Dee River. Although this style of canoeing is deemed a calm and peaceful session the look over the edge is a breathtaking sight, but with our staff on hand, there is nothing to worry about, especially with a safe footpath on the opposing side.
After this it is then a breeze down the canal, learning and developing skills across the way with some games and challenges thrown in. Our endpoint is the Sun Trevor pub which is a great location for some good quality grub and a cold drink.

5.00Really enjoyed this experience, it was a lot of fun. The guide was great, he explained everything we needed to know about safety, how to get in and out of the canoe etc., also knew a lot about the area and the canal. It was just a really nice experience canoeing down the canal, looking at the beautiful scenery and the aqueduct is just amazing. Altogether a great few hours of fun.

5.00My fiancé paddled with me all the way up there! She doesn't like heights, so if she can do it you can do it too! Jack was our captain of our voyage and what a great bloke he was, grab that man a beer!

5.00We loved our experience canoeing over the aqueduct, whole trip was 2.5 hours, which was perfect! Enough time to feel line we had value for money. Ollie our guide was great, made the experience even better.

5.00This experience was amazing! The views going over the aqueduct were stunning! Emma our guide was so lovley & friendly. She gave us lots of local knowledge as well as making the experince a lot of fun in our small group. We had a Voucher through virgin experience days and the booking process was so easy and there was no hassle when we needed to change the time of our experience either. Would 100% recommend these guys if you're in North wales looking for an experience.

5.00Brilliant, Emma was our guide and she honestly couldn't have made everyone feel more at ease. The experience itself is very leisurely and caters for all abilities. We even stayed around to watch some of the white water rafting, think that might be next on the list when in the area again.
Emma brought the sun with her 😁

5.00Excellent day out today with EMMA our tour guide she was so warm, welcoming and funny she made the bad weather bearable. If she is doing any of the other activities Id definitely go back and recommend this experience to everyone. Think I'll make it a year adventure with the family. 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

5.00Booked with Bearded men & Joe was our tour leader. Great training , guidance & fun with plenty of laughs & amazing views. 8 people / 4 canoes made this feel a personal experience. Joe remembered everyone’s name & was positive & encouraging with the right balance of banter 😀

5.00Great way to spend a few hours. We really enjoyed the canoeing. Emma, our guide, was really friendly and welcoming. We didn't have any canoeing experience, but Emma gave all the information you needed to feel safe throughout. The views are amazing. We even had time for a stop off at the barge cake shop, which was a bonus. Would definitely recommend this adventure and would do it again.
