We start at the south end of the aqueduct and soon enough you are paddling across this famous feat of engineering which stands at an impressive 126ft above the Dee River. Although this style of canoeing is deemed a calm and peaceful session the look over the edge is a breathtaking sight, but with our staff on hand, there is nothing to worry about, especially with a safe footpath on the opposing side.
After this it is then a breeze down the canal, learning and developing skills across the way with some games and challenges thrown in. Our endpoint is the Sun Trevor pub which is a great location for some good quality grub and a cold drink.

We made new friends and can only recommend the experience in the highest terms. We will be selecting more experience to goon with this group.

5.00Mike, aka the Anglesey minister, was a good guide, funny, knowledgeable and chatty. It had been a long time since we last paddled a Canadian canoe so the briefing was essential. The pace was leisurely and crossing the viaduct was amazing. Well recommended.

5.00Fantastic outing. Made even better by our guide - Joe, who offered just enough incredible history, just enough guidance and just enough advice with just the right old school sense of humour and sarcasm and expected you to provide the common sense, to allow a group of different people to work it out for themselves in their own way and in their own time. The actual activity was exactly the right amount of time. Any less would have been too short and any more would have been too much. Highly recommend.

5.00Such a fun afternoon kayaking across the aqueduct- beautiful route, amazing views. Our guide, Ollie was brilliant, good humour, great at explaining, and really gave you confidence. We will remember the beautiful sunshine, with strong wind and blast of hail to freshen up the last 20 minutes!!!! Thanks for such a brilliant afternoon ☺️

5.00What a fantastic experience! From the meet and greet (not to forget the safety talk), the short walk to the canal, the canoe experience and the spectacular views from the viaduct. An experience we will remember forever. Joe, our guide was amazing, little jokes (with a hint of sarcasm), faultless memory in remembering all our names and treating us like it was also his first canoe experience. Just the right amount of guidance given when needed. Thank you Joe. Can highly recommend!
