You are collected from a meeting point or your accommodation by our knowledgeable guide in our 9 seater 4-wheel drive Portuguese UMM. We dont overload your tour with just 5 people
We then embark on a leisurely sightseeing tour, with some easy off-roading on good tracks to see the stunning beauty of the island of Porto Santo. Covering all four corners of the island with its magnificent viewpoints, you will have the opportunity to take fantastic photographs both from the open-sided vehicle and as we make many stops en route.
The Golden Island has so much to offer the inquiring visitor. Allow us to share stories of the history, geography and people that have helped to shape this paradise.

Discover the natural beauty of the island of Porto Santo. Enjoy the stunning views from the many viewpoints as we take a relaxed leisurely drive around the island. We guarantee you won't be part of a long dusty column of other vehicles or we will be out to do the Madeira rally for speed. As we travel around the island you can find out a little more about the people, their history and the geography of this truly unique place. Timings are all approximate.

5.00Sandro - our guide was amazing. He explained everything in detail, answered all our questions and showed us the whole Island. The tour was not rushed and we had plenty of time for photographs and for walking around the individual stopping points Sandro's knowledge of the history of the Island both geologically and politically is unrivalled. He dropped us off after the tour at an excellent bar for a drink and snack .

5.00We enjoyed this tour of the island with Burnett who made us share in a good mood his passion for this island. He listened to our special requests such as photographing birds. The Jeep transport was fun.

5.00Wow, our expectations were surpassed by a LOT. Mike is a local with tons of knowledge about the island and, more importantly, he has real appreciation for the land and the people living here. We could not have asked for anything more. If anyone gets the chance to tour the island with Mike, you are in for an experience you won’t soon forget.

5.00Highly recommend! Michael is expert in the geology, flora, fauna and culture of his adopted home. He is an excellent and energetic communicator who eagerly shares his knowledge in an easy to understand and engaging manner. The tour is indeed ‘whole island’. We saw and learned so much. To see and understand Porto Santo, this is the tour to take!

5.00We had a fabulous tour with Mike who was friendly and very knowledgable. We learned so much from him and saw a great deal of the island. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this tour to anyone and next time we are in Porto Santo we will be booking with Mike again. We appreciated the biscuits too! 5.00The photographic tour was arranged through the Bravelanders, namely by the guide Miguel Rocha, native of the island, professional, friendly, charismatic, exquisite conductor, deep knowledge of the history and the wonderful scenic trails of all corners of this golden island. It was a legendary, super emotional tour that enchanted the whole family. I highly recommend!

5.00We had an incredible guided tour with Mike, who expertly drove us around the island. Our journey took us through breathtaking roads and viewpoints, each more spectacular than the last. Mike's storytelling was captivating; he shared the island's rich history in such an engaging manner that the four-hour trip seemed to fly by. 5.00An absolutely incredible tour. Mike is very knowledgeable about the island, provides plenty of facts and information and brings you everywhere you need to see. I definitely recommend you book with him. I did the afternoon tour and was lucky enough to get a solo tour.

5.00The guide Mike picked us up from the Ferry and he was super nice and so helpful. We went down to Calheta which was amazing then up the hills behind it and made so many stops for photos. We then went to the other side of the Island and stopped at a lovely cake shop for coffee then up the hills, the scenery was gorgeous and Mike was really knowledgable about the island and stopped at some amazing places for us. We loved the tour and have booked a walk with him tomorrow. Cant recommend it enough brilliant tour.
