We are a small and passionate surf school. We offer surf lessons in small groups on the beautiful beach of Azurara 20km from Porto. Enjoy authentic Portuguese surroundings away from the hustle and crowded beaches of the city. Azurara is a wide and empty beach with many opportunities to have your own surfing spot. Here you focus purely on your lesson. Enjoy this athmosphere with authentic and professional surf trainers. Our services include a pick up service from Porto as well as a surfing board, a wetsuit and an insurance.

Come spend a day with us at our surf school and catch some waves! Our instructors will pick you up at Casa da Musica metro station and take you to one of the beautiful surf spots. We offer lessons for all levels, from begginers to advanced surfers. Our beautiful beach location provides the perfect setting for a day of fun in the sun. During the 2h30m you will learn the basics of surfing, starting with safety instructions passing to the paddling and surfing techniques. Material, transportation and insurance included Join us for a day of adventure, excitement and endless waves! Book your lesson today and experience the thrill of surfing with our expert instructors. Please note that surfing is not possible at all times of the day. We want to offer you the best possible surfing experience. That's why we usually go in the morning. One day before the lesson you will receive an email with the exact pick-up time/starting time of the lesson depending on the oceans conditions.

5.00The highlight of our trip! It was a magical morning to surf in Porto especially with our surf instructor Nuno! He was so positive and we were surf pros by the end of the day. This surf school was personable and it’s a must book if you are in Porto and make sure to request Nuno!!!

5.00Had an amazing time surfing for the first time ever. I did fall alot but thats always to be expected but instructions and help was always provided and was always comfortable throughout the whole experience.

5.00We had a wonderful first surf experience with Sergio! He is a really nice person and taught us a lot for surfing! We could already catch our first waves after a short time. We had a lot of fun and highly recommend his surf lessons, you will definitively enjoy it! He picked us up in Porto and we drove with a small group to a beautiful beach outside of Porto! :)

5.005* sympathy, professionalism and attention, are characteristics that you will find in this school. We went among friends and joined other people who also took class. We feel super comfortable. They initially told us what we had to do in the water, we heated and even in the water, they were always helping us! Very kind ⁇ loved it! I will be back very soon and ⁇ to take fixed classes ⁇ The instructor Sérgio always very helpful and attentive! ☺️

5.00This was really great surf lesson :) we went to a beach outside of the city, the pick up and drop off went smoothly. Prior to this I already had 3 surf lessons but I wasn't really successful and happy with my surfing. But this one lesson was so much more helpful!!! The teacher was helping and giving tips to everyone of us all the time. The group was small so he could pay attention to everyone. Thank you very much :) if I come back to Porto, I will book another lesson.

5.00I booked a 3-day surf course with Ocean Origin. Booking was easy and convenient online. We met with Sérgio, owner and surf instructor, at a central pick-up point in Porto, from where he took us to the beach with the best conditions for the day. Got very useful instructions for complete beginners like me. Wet suits and boards provided. I loved it. Sérgio is a super instructor, so patient, relaxed and friendly!! Monika in the back office was also ready to answer any question. Awesome experience! Met some really nice people from all over Europe. Highly recommended :))

5.00I can only recommend these surf lessons! The entire booking and organisation went smoothly and was very uncomplicated. The team (Sergio and Monika) are very responsive. We were picked up on time and personally and could already get to know the other participants and Sergio on the way. Sergio is a fantastic surf instructor who explains very well and can pass on his knowledge. Above all, he constantly motivates you, is patient and is happy to share your successes with you. He is very open and understands fun. The three days of surf lessons were incredibly funny and I was able to learn a lot I will definitely book again if I visit this area again. Thanks for this experience. :)

5.00The contact was easy and the organization was very good. I always got a quick answer to my questions. The pick up was always on time and we drove to a beautiful beach. Sergio is a very friendly and motivated surf instructor. He always tries to give you good tips and tries to help you to improve your skills. I had a lot of fun and a few amazing surf lessons.

5.00We booked a 3 day surf lesson during our vacay in portugal. Pick up was easy and unproblematic and we went to 2 different beautiful beaches during our lessons. Sérgio is a fantastic instructors. He was really patient with us and gave us great advices and assistance all the time. The waves were great and we had a really nice time with a fun group of people. Equipment was all well-maintained too and we felt save all the time. We would genuinely recommend it to everyone and we will definitely be back next year.
