Our first destination will be Ifrane, also called the Switzerland of Morocco because of its gabled roof houses. We will stop here for a short walk. The city was established by the French administration in 1928 to escape from the heat of the Sahara desert
A stop by the side of the road in the largest cedar forest to feed the barbarian monkeys
Aoufous
After having lunch in a restaurant somewhere along the way, we will continue our journey to Merzouga. On the way, we will stop for a panoramic view of ziz valley palm trees.
Sahara Eyes Morocco
We will reach the Merzouga desert in the afternoon. Here, you will get to ride camels across huge sand dunes to your luxury desert camp. It will take you about an hour and 40 minutes of camel trekking. On the way, you will stop in a high dune to watch a peaceful sunset over Erg Chebbi dunes. You can also reach the camp by a 4x4 vehicle instead of riding camels (included in the price too!). Once you get to the camp, the staff will show you your private tents. After a delicious dinner, you can enjoy having a seat around a campfire while the staff is playing drums and singing some traditional Berber music. Enjoy watching a starry sky before getting to bed.

If today happens to be Tuesday, Thursday, or Sunday, we will stop in Rissani to experience what a traditional Moroccan souk feels like. The souk is just three days a week. The city is also the foundation of the current ruling family of Morocco!
Fossiles d'Erfoud
Paleontological research shows that the area of Erfoud was a sea bed where many types of marine animals existed, many of which cannot be found today. However, their existence is well preserved, fossilized in the area of Erfoud, which is a stable zone from a geological perspective. Geologically speaking, there are many mines and quarries, where the fossils are embedded in huge boulders, each career has its own characteristics in terms of age, raw materials, and the color of fossils. Ammonites, and goniatites orthoceras are widespread in our fossil Sahara
Todra Gorge
we will drive to Todra Canyon, which is the deepest canyon in Morocco. It is over 300 meters high cliffs! We will have a walk under this amazing Canyon before driving to our last destination of the day.
Dades Gorges
We will arrive in Dades Gorges in the afternoon. First, we will drive to see some amazing rock formations known as monkey fingers. Then, drive to a place where there is a panoramic view of the Gorges.
Boumalne Dades - Ouarzazate -Ait Benhaddou-Marrakech
After having a yummy breakfast at your hotel, we will drive to Ouarzazate passing by Kelaat Mgouna, which is known for roses! If your tour is running during springtime, we will stop in a valley that gets full of roses.
Ouarzazate
Ouarzazate is nicknamed the Holywood of Africa and the gateway to the Sahara Desert. Here, we will drive to see the Atlas Studio. It is the largest studio in the world, in terms of land area. Many films and TV series used the service of the studio, including Aladdin, Vikings, and Prison Break. You can take some pictures from outside, then drive to explore the Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah. You can also choose to visit the studio from the inside. However, it will take you about an hour and a half, and also there is a ticket that you will have to pay (not included in the price!).
Ait Ben Haddou
Our guide will escort you to visit this ancient Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou while explaining to you its interesting history. The fortified village is a great example of Moroccan architecture. It was once used as a caravanserai during the caravan routes that were crossing the great Sahara Desert. The Kasbah is featured in many famous films and TV series, including Gladiator, Game of Thrones, and many more.
High Atlas
After exploring the Kasbah, we will drive to Marrakech over the High Atlas Mountains. We will have some stops along the way for some breathtaking views.
Marrakech
We will reach Marrakech in the late afternoon. Drop you off at the closest point accessible by car to your Hotel/Riad. End of your Fes to Marrakech desert tour.

5.00Awesome experience. This is my second time doing a tour with Hassan Azeroauel and definitely I recommend his services. We always felt secure traveling with him. He is a gentlemen and he knows Morocco very well. We had a great experience at the dessert, then we went to several cities such as Fez, Casablanca, Chefchouan etc. We got recommendations from him for dinners, places to visit etc. We have had a delightful vacation and I hope to return.

Being able of traveling smoothly around the country on a very comfortable SUV was such a pleasant experience. Places like Marrakesh, Ait Benhaddou, Ouarzazate, Boumalne Dades, Michlifen, and Fés, gave us memories that will remain in our souls forever. 5.00Hassan planned my trip to the Sahara according to my preferences and demands. He saw to it that all lodging arrangements were made in advance and that the daily schedule was put together with ease. His presence gave me a sense of security and comfort when I was traveling alone. Hassan is extremely well-organized and prompt, so I was able to visit and take pleasure in everything without wasting any time. My favorite parts of the vacation were camping and quad biking in the middle of the Sahara Desert. Every restaurant and the sightseeing was quite amazing. Strongly advise using Live Morocco Tours and hiring Hassan as your tour guide.
