At Moab Canyon Tours, our mission is to share the passion we have for exploring the canyon country of southeastern Utah. We are driven with a need to explore every corner of this incredible landscape and enjoy showing people what we love most about the Moab area.

Interested in getting out for a longer day, but still looking to make time for an afternoon Arches trip? Our premium ¾ adventures are right up your alley. Our experienced guides will contact you the day before your booking to arrange pick-up and discuss several options to tailor the experience to your group. Our ¾ day tours travel through less frequented terrain and offer a unique experience for those who are looking to do more than scratch the surface. Our guides will offer instruction on everything from movement skills such as downclimbing, to the nuances of rappel technique. These tours are excellent for those looking for a challenge and the largest rappels around.

We came unexperienced and were amazed how well James introduced us to climbing. At the end of the day we enjoyed climbing rocks, which I could not have imagined climbing before. All this did James relaxed, friendly and very competent. He was very attentive and catered to our needs and questions.

We had a fantastic rappelling experience with Sean. This was our first time, and he put us right at ease with his expertise and patience. This was a highlight of our trip. Highly recommended!

Had an incredible experience with our guide, Sean! We spent 3/4 of a day together, and could not have asked for a better adventure in Moab. Sean was supremely knowledgable and professional —sharing so much about the geography, plants, and people that call the area home. One of his best qualities as a guide was his ability to foster an envrionemt where we felt safe, engaged, and excited for each new bend in the canyon. Our group had varied levels of experience in this terrain, but we had no problems whatsoever. We would highly recommend Moab canyon tours and our guide Sean to anyone who wants to experience the landscape in a completely unique way!

This! Was the greatest adventure in Moab! James was an incredible guide! If you are looking for something you and children will talk about for the next 25 yrs. Then go canyoneering here in Moab.

We lucked out Canyoneering Rock of Ages with James, but now you are reading this review so you know to go with this company! James was super safe, supportive, & fun. Great local knowledge of canyons but also Moab more generally. An awesome morning!

Canyoneering ‘Zero Gravity’ with Gabe

Had a private tour with Gabe in to the companies ‘Zero Gravity’ Canyoneering location. The route was pretty technical for beginners, but we had an absolute blast. Gabe was knowledgable, engaging and professional. All the equipment was provided for our safety and to keep our bags dry, which was pretty essential for this particular canyon, as you spend a fair amount of time in water (which we wanted!), the more technical areas of the tour were a lot of fun, but not for the faint hearted. There are areas where it gets very tight indeed, so if you’re claustrophobic, maybe skip this one! If you’re up for a really fun adventure with rope décents, tight rock gaps, loss of rock pools to swim through, and some incredible scenery, this is the one for you! I personally would note to wear old shoes and clothes you don’t mind getting sort of trashed or at least very wet and dirty! And bring a spare set of clean clothes for the drive back! Epic tour, great guide, a lot of fun! Thanks to Gabe for his enthusiasm, really rubbed off!

Wow Zero-G was everything we were hoping for and more. Tons of water, 3 rope sections, lots of shimmying (my new favorite word) and all led by our amazing guide Sean. Such a great dude. Very professional and also cool to hang out with. We seriously couldn’t have asked for more. 10 out of 10 and we’ll be back one day for sure!
