In a world where social distancing once became a way of life, the wilderness has become our one true safe haven.
Guests of Lake Fever never need to worry about trip planning, gear rentals or transportation. Every trip to the quiet wilderness will provide campers with a sterilized tent, sleeping bag & sleeping pad, even up to 6 prepared meals at camp & S'Mores by crackling campfire. Best of all, we TEACH CAMPING, so no experience necessary!
On our private 3 day trips, you and yours can expect to swim, canoe and hike to breath-taking lookouts over peaceful Algonquin Provincial Park. Skip the hassle of renting multiple cars & equipment, booking campsites, planning day trips, and cooking meals. We've got your summer escape covered!

Lunch stop at a lakeside restaurant in Huntsville -a quiet cottage town loaded with festivals this summer. If something exciting is happening we’ll be sure to take a peak before heading out. Passengers should bring money to pay for their own lunch.
Algonquin Provincial Park
Patrons acquaint themselves with the campsite, take a short hike and settle in for dinner and a campfire with S'Mores (weather permitting)

Algonquin Provincial Park
Today is a free day, with a range of activities for guests to choose from (weather permitting): Fans of trekking can enjoy a 4-5 hour journey into Algonquin's deep wilderness on the Centennial Ridges Trail. The trail is 10km long, and well known for wildlife spottings. As another option, campers may choose to rent bicycles (cruisers, mountain bikes, fat tires) (*cost excluded) and ride out on the Old Railway Bike Trail. This path follows a section of discarded railway line, now shrouded in trees. 16km long from end to end, it's rated Easy, and is suitable for young children.

Booth's Rock Trail
Begin the day with one of Algonquin's most beautiful hikes. Booth's Rock Trail is a 2 hour 5.1 km loop trail that visits two lakes and an amazing lookout, then returning along an abandoned railway. *It is recommended that those with mobility issues do a shorter version of this hike
Lake Opeongo
Campers will have the opportunity to canoe or kayak on Lake Opeongo -the largest of Algonquin's 1,500 lakes

Damian is an amazing guide, made sure we had everything. We were sceptical about the completely vegetarian food but it was so tasty! The equipment was great.
