  Excellent service and attention, not only when making the reservation, but each of the guides and drivers, without having lunch in one of the most prestigious restaurants in the city. 100% recommended and we would do it again with them.

  We did the Jungle Trek with David and it was an amazing 4 days. Cycling, water rafting, ziplining and hiking. He is a trustworthy and knowledgeable guide. We really enjoyed learning about the coffee experience with him on Day 2 and making fresh coffee from bean to cup for breakfast. David is a local and experienced guide and cares for his country.

  My favorite part was walking around the gigantic walls at Sacsayhuaman just above the city of Cusco. Amazing place!! I think that it is a good idea to rest up the day that you arrive in Cusco, so your body can slowly adjust to the 11,000 ft. elevation. Then take this city tour with Travel 1 the following day. We didn’t know what to expect, with the high altitude. We are happy to report that the folks at Travel 1 took real good care of us. Both the part of the tour within the City of Cusco and the part up in the high hills above Cusco were fascinating. We had a private tour, and nobody made us move along at a rapid pace. Our Travel 1 guide seemed to know everything about Cusco. His English was fine, and his personality was super friendly. I hope that we will be able to keep in touch in the future.

  My wife and I came to Peru without too many plans with the idea that we’d find what suited us best as the journey progressed. Travel1Tours was an absolutely 5-star addition to our itinerary. We booked the 1-day private tour to Machu Picchu from Cusco, and from the moment we started at 6am to the time we got back around 9pm, every moment was thoughtfully taken care of. The package included everything from private car service to the train, round trip train tickets, bus & entrance tickets to and from the site, and lunch after the hike. Our tour guide Jhon was extremely knowledgeable and even took some great photos of us along the way. Jacob was super easy to work with for reserving and planning, and in addition to all of his behind the scenes work, he met us at our hotel the night before for a private consultation, AND he dropped us off and picked us up from the train station on the day of our trip. Great service, great communication, excellent tour and guide, and highly recommended.

  My family and I used Travel 1 Tours for a 10-day tour around southern Peru, including the Machu Picchu Day tour from Cusco. Let me say that we all had a really great time with Travel 1 Tours in Peru. We were very impressed with the level of organization and attention to detail. The Travel 1 Tour team gave us personal attention every step of the way, and their staff became more like family by the end of our stay. We were really able to just sit back and enjoy our time with none of the stress or hassles that come with travel. Knowing that when you get off the plane, bus or train, that someone will be there to meet and take care of you was a great relief. Travel 1 Tour staff were so attentive, at times I almost felt like royalty. Several of the sites we visited were part of a group tour, however it almost seemed like the Travel 1 Tour staff had vetted the guide for the group tours. For example, there are boats for Islas Ballestas every 5-10 minutes, but I suspect T1T had vetted the group tour guides and made sure we got the best. Likewise, there are many boats for Lake Titicaca, but again, I think T1T knew which group tour guide was the best, and made sure we went with him. The quality of the hotels most of the time exceeded our expectation, and we truly felt pampered. There was a perfect balance of structured sightseeing with free time to allow us to explore on our own.

  This whirlwind, spring break trip to Cusco and Machu Picchu would not have been possible fro us without Travel 1 Tours. They handled everything perfectly from the fist planning stages through our final day catching a flight home from Lima. We usually like to organize and book all our own stuff directly so letting a tour company do it for us made us nervous but we needn't have worried. There was not single snafu (aside from delayed flights, which they had no control over) during the entire trip. The hotels and restaurants they chose were top notch. Every representative and tour guide we met was friendly, courteous and really knowledgable. There was never a time where we found ourselves wondering where we were supposed to be or who was supposed to meet us. They were always right there when we needed them and made sure we had all the info, tickets, directions etc we needed. Our guide on the city tour and the Sacred Valley tour was awesome as was our personal guide, John, for the actual Machu Picchu day. Our only regret was that we only had a week off of work, since packing all the sites into just 3 or 4 days was tough! They also handled the booking of our Lime to Cusco and back flights as well as a room at the beginning and end of our trip back in Lima, no worries. We upgraded to the Vista Car train which was really worth it! Great trip, thanks Travel 1 Tours!

  We joined a 5 days tours from Cuzco to Machu Picchu. Unfortunately our baggage were lost when we arrived at Cuzco airport. Thank you to Jacob of Travel 1 tours who helped us to liaise with airlines. Finally the luggage were arrived at our hotel in Cuzco next day. The logistic of the trip were smooth although we took the train from Ollantaytambo to Machu Picchu by ourself. The guide is professional. She lead us walk around and introduce history of Machu Picchu to us. The hotels were clean and decent. Breakfasts are great.
