This full day excursion is a panoramic tour by private vehicle to enjoy the scenic beauty of Maipo Valley and El Yeso Reservoir. The tour consists of proceeding 62 miles (100 km) from Santiago towards the famous Maipo Valley. The road skirts the Maipo River, which accompanies you with a great view over the Andes foothills.

We start the day with private pickup services from your hotel location and begin our drive towards South-East Santiago and the Andes mountain range. On this route we will travel accross the Maipo Valley offering us great views over the Andes foothills and the Maipo River,

3.00Our guide, Jose was very friendly, and knowledgeable. However, the condition of the vehicle was less than adequate. It was old, dirty, and had ripped areas in the seat backs as well as a cracked windshield and had obviously been repaired in the past. Jose’s driving was erratic and was uncomfortably fast. For the amount that we paid for this “private “ tour we expected much more. We have done 2 other tours with Viator in Santiago this week. They were professional and good value. This tour was not!
Excellent in every way, they were reliable, professional, excellent knowledge, value for money and care about clients

5.00What a wonderful experience with guide Claudio & driver on our private full day tour to Andes Cajun Del Maipo excursion. They were professional knowledgeable, easy to understand their accents and very hospitable. Our lunch together was like sharing food with good friends. Claudio even spotted a Condor chick quite some distance away & took a good photo for me. The company that they represent is excellent, they are reliable, keep in touch before & after and tour was value for money….. I highly recommend choosing them for your tours.

5.00Excellent trip to some beautiful scenery in the Andes. We were lucky enough to see some condors and other wildlife. JJ was a great guide, very knowledgeable and spoke very good English. Thanks for a wonderful day out.

5.00Our day in the Maipo Valley far exceeded all of our expectations. We especially enjoyed having Christian as our friendly, knowledgeable guide with all of the local info and a great lunch spot that we would never have found for ourselves. Christian listened to what we were interested in and ensured that I saw amazing mountains and rocks and my husband saw many, many new species of birds. It’s the highlight of our trip!

5.00We had an excellent day with Francisco. He drove us to the Andes, around the reservoir and along some tracks that were well off the beaten path. Unfortunately it was unseasonably cold and rainy the day we went, so we only did some short walks outside the vehicle. On the way back to Santiago we stopped in a nice restaurant for a late lunch. Francisco is very knowledgeable and was a very engaging guide. Would strongly recommend this tour for anyone interested in seeing the Andes from close up.

5.00Our guide Francisco was a complete gift! He's has decades of knowledge not just about Chile but also in the tour guide industry. He always made sure we were safe, especially given the high elevation. He also was an encyclopedia of knowledge regarding the area and the history and the geology of the area. The reservoir is the clearest bluest blue! We were lucky enough to see snow-dusted peaks against a clear blue sky. We were able to spend more time at certain places and less time at others bc it was just us. Didn't have to stick to a group timetable. Treat yourself to this private tour!

5.00Francisco was a great guide having a lot of experiences in the area and deep knowledge of the geology and Chile history. The tour was a great experience to get out out of the city and into the mountains.

5.00The tour is an experience, you learn a lot about Chile, its culture, its history and besides the landscapes are incredible. Claudio, our guide and Jose our driver were excellent. When I return to Chile I will not hesitate to take another tour with them.

5.00My family & I took the tour & we absolutely loved it! I wasn’t sure what to expect, but Claudio was very informative & charismatic as a guide, while Jose was an excellent driver who was super chill. The sights were amazing to see, I won’t give too much away, but it was totally worth it! I’ll be coming back to Chile for sure & I hope to see Jose & Claudio again!
