  A solid A+ rated experience with our super guide Ismai’l. He was v welcoming, v v knowledgeable and made us feel like family. We’ll surely recommend this if you like to spend quality 6-7 hours with in the picturesque valleys of the Atlas Mountains and enjoy the company of the suoer warm berber people, rich organic berber foods and other close-to-nature experiences. Please don’t miss it if you are in Marrakech :)

  We booked a private tour with Morocco Inspiring Tours via GetYourGuide and couldn't be more satisfied. Abdul was a fantastic driver and guide – safe, professional and with excellent English. He generously shared his knowledge and made the whole journey both instructive and personal. The great advantage of a private tour was the flexibility: we could stop wherever we wanted to take pictures or explore places that caught our interest, including a carpet store that became an unexpectedly pleasant stop. The highlight was the hike between the Berber villages, a genuine experience that gave a nice insight into the everyday life of the locals and offered magical views of the Atlas Mountains. Lunch at a local Berber family was a memorable moment with fantastic food and warm hospitality. We felt safe all the way with Abdul behind the wheel on the winding mountain roads. We highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to experience Morocco for real.

• Remarkable Trip to the Atlas Mountains

  I arranged a private tour for a group of 6 to the Atlas Mountains. A few days before the trip, I asked the tour organiser if the local family hosting us for lunch would be able to bake a cake for an extra charge, as it was a special trip for mum. The team didn't promise, but they delivered an exceptional experience. First stop; at the co-op where working ladies are employed was educational, and we learned about Berber women’s work. The light breakfast was a nice touch. Our tour guide (Abdullah) took us near the river for a refreshment, which offered lovely scenery that was unspoiled by commercialisation, allowing us to enjoy the view. The view all the way to the 1-5 Valley was fascinating and Abdullah was knowledgeable, making the journey fun and enjoyable as well. We did a moderate trail walk in the valley for over an hour. It was great to explore the valley and observe the lives of the locals. Our guide on the walking trail was helpful, knowledgeable and patient, as we are slightly slower, with two adults in their early seventies. The lunch hosted by the local Berber family was a wonderful experience. The tagine was tasty and they opened their home with kindness. A truly great host, they prepared something special for Mum’s birthday — dressing her up like a local Berber and making sure she would have a memorable birthday celebration. It was an amazing day, and we treasure those moments. Of course, it was a lovely touch that the cake was complimentary! • Highlight of our family trip to Marrakech

  Wonderful day spent with Abdul as our driver and primary guide. We had many stops for sightseeing, and unexpected encounters such as goats and sheep grazing the mountainside, seeing school children, and enjoying coffee by the river. Our hike was memorable visiting a local Berber home and animals with an additional guide from this village explaining it to us and being very kind to our 8/year old daughter, holding her when she was tired of walking. The highlight was a delicious and plentiful lunch at another Berber home with our welcoming hosts. I appreciated Abdul’s very careful and comfortable driving, excellent English and personality which showed he cared very much for his guests and his community.

  Abdullah is an amazing guide. We spent whole day visiting local Berber families and admiring beautiful valleys. Whole trip was adjusted to the group. We had time both for activities and resting in the Berber house eating tajine and admiring Atlas mountains. Our guide was very flexible and outgoing, he was driving safely and stopping in places where we could make best photos. We spent the great time!
