  We did the day tour from Split to Mostar with several interesting stops along the way. There were many highlights but the number one was lunch at Ante (a great tour guide) mother's house. the food was fantastic as was the setting. I would highly recommend this experience

  A wonderful day for our group of 17. Ante picked us up and took us to a beautiful overlook, giving us a great history and introduction to Croatia. Then we ate a fantastic meal at their family home. Best bread I have ever eaten! His mom made it on the fire. Amazing! Then it was on to Bosnia and Herzegovina. Beautiful tour of Mostar with a great local guide. After stopping at the beautiful waterfalls, we had a traditional peke meal at the family home. It was delicious and such a treat to be in a family home. It was a marvelous way to have a cultural experience and see beautiful countryside. Thanks, Ante!

  In addition to having the best meal on our trip, the setting and service were exceptional. Ante provided us with an 11 day trip (my sibling sent cities/locations we want to visit) around Slovenian and Croatia. We visited many unique and local restaurants and activities. Would highly recommend this guide and any of his services. If I could give him a 10, I would! Enjoy your trip and book with this guide.

  We had a great day with Ante. He picked us up from our hotel and took us to his family’s place approximately a 1.5 hour drive away. Along the way, he stopped and showed us several beautiful and interesting locations and places to stop and take pictures. He told us so much about the history of his country and the neighboring countries as well as much about the economy and culture in Croatia and the neighboring countries. It was very fascinating. We visited several locations on his family property viewing various items used as a way of life in previous decades by his ancestors, as well as viewed the local harvest of pomegranates and olives. We were served a delicious brunch of prosciutto, various fresh cheeses, fresh figs, grapes, plums, peaches, tomatoes as well as homemade bread and a wonderful refreshing white wine and cherry liquor and cherry juice. After brunch, we toured his family land and also went to two lovely and scenic waterfall locations. We followed this by another wonderful meal called “peka” at his family home of slow cooked veal ribs and potatoes and red wine. We were given a very fascinating demonstration of how this dish is prepared. We were also served a delicious refreshing salad of homegrown tomatoes, green bell peppers and cucumbers with a light vinegar and oil dressing. This was followed by the most delicious watermelon and cheesecake. We ended the day by driving a scenic route along the Adriatic Sea back to Split. We thoroughly enjoyed our day with Ante and learned so many things about his home country and culture. Thanks so much for a great day, Ante!

  My wife and I had an amazing tour with Ante. We got to see some beautiful sceneries and ate a delicious traditional home cooked meal. This tour is a must!!!

  I can't pick a favorite part because everything about this experience was FANTASTIC! Ante, Vibor - our guide who gave us a lot of information about Croatia and Bosnia-Herzgovinia, Senka Rupčić - who is a great cook and hostess, the FOOD, the scenery! The food was incomparable - everything fresh, natural, LOCAL, and all beautifully prepared. And what you eat - and you will eat, be full, and try to figure out how to eat more! - you can often bring home, as the wine, liqueurs, jams, pomegranate syrup can be purchased, and you will want them all. We were served GENEROUS portions of fresh cheeses, prosciutto, bread, jams, cherries, strawberries, olives, and more - and that was just brunch. For lunch we had veal and potatoes prepared in the traditional manner under the Peka - a process that takes place right in front of you - and it was absolutely the best veal I have had, plus a lovely salad, fresh tomatoes, and bread. All followed by something I will call cheesecake, but was so much better than cheesecake. And there us wine - white, red, whatever you prefer, and a cherry liqueur and a walnut digestif! • Unforgettable Experience in Bosnia and Herzegovina

  Our trip with Ante was absolutely unforgettable. In addition to being a wonderful guide and great person, our trip was comfortable, informative, and fun. The vehicle was clean and VERY comfortable. We got to see and hear the local perspective of a region we never knew was so accessible and charming. The meal with Ante and his family was legitimately the best meal we've eaten in a long time, and getting to see where it came from, the history behind it, and everything else made it such a special time. Whatever your plans in the area are, I would strongly recommend leaving a day free to go spend time with Ante, go see the sights, and enjoy one of the best meals you'll ever eat.
