After hotel pickup from your Beijing's central located hotel in the morning on 9:00am, your private day tour starts with a visit to summer palace, which is a spacious ensemble of lakes, gardens and palaces in Beijing, you can also experience for taking interesting dragon boat when you walk around the Kunming over there, then take a short visit for silk factory and get to know more details about Chinese silk.
Temple of Heaven
Then you will have lunch at an authentic Chinese restaurant at your own expense, then continue to explore Temple of Heaven, which is an imperial building complex of religious buildings and one of UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The complex was visited by emperors from Ming and Qing dynasties for annual ceremonies of prayer for good harvest.Tour the complex to know long history and significance with ancient Chinese culture.Your tour ends with hotel drop-off around 5:00pm.

5.00We had an amazing time touring the Summer Palace and Temple of Heaven with John! He was accommodating to our plans and was such good company throughout the day. He is incredibly knowledgeable about Chinese history and we learned so much from him. He knew his way around and we were able see everything under his guidance. Highly recommend!

5.00This was great tour. We couldn't get the ticket to Forbidden City due to late booking of the activity, but I was proposed an alternative to swap it with Summer Palace. The guide Jenny is very knowledgeable and kind, explained everything during the day in English, sharing many insights and stories about places we visited as well as overall culture.

5.00We really enjoyed our tour of the Summer Palace and Temple of Heaven with Beijing Terry and his driver in May, 2019. Terry was knowledgeable and patient, especially with my wife who has advanced arthritis, and had to walk more slowly and rest from time to time. Terry was also very flexible, letting us take as many pictures as we wanted, visit with people we met along the way, and have our photos taken in Emperor and Empress costumes. The Summer Palace in the morning was so lovely with its Long Corridor with its 14000 colored paintings and Tower of Buddhist Incense. We took a boat across tranquil Kunming Lake to the 17 Arches Bridge leading to Nanhu Island and its Rain Temple. Then, at our request, Terry took us to Da Wan Ju restaurant for a delicious Peking Duck. So good! In the afternoon we toured the beautiful Temple of Heaven site, and learned much about its history, significance, and structure. Terry is very kind, has a good sense of humor, and treated us likely family. He was open to help us see whatever interested us. We highly recommend his services. Thank you, Terry!

5.00We had only a 22h layover to visit Beijing and retained the services of John Terry, who was very helpful in making the best out of it with optimal suggestions for transportation, lodging and site visits.. On top of being an excellent communicator, he proposed us a tailor-made private tour that allowed us to visit that main attractions in Beijing in a stress-free schedule.
