What a full experience very nice! Well cared for and lots of explanations. Started by bike, went to the local market, then cooking, lots of explanations about the dishes, delicious everything and ended with a nice foot massage and still explanation on the land. This afternoon was like a party. We were alone with 7 people as a family at this workshop. Highly recommended, big 10!

We had such a nice time. We felt like we saw a lot of the outside of Hoi An and learned so much from the cooking class that we can use at home. Minh was fantastic. 🥰

This was one of the highlights for our 14yr old son! We cycled out to a herb farm, cooked rice crackers over a charcoal fire, then rode back alongside buffalos in the rice fields to the coconut boats. It was mid afternoon so the coconut boat experience was lovely and peaceful amongst the palm trees. Lastly we spent the remainder of the afternoon and early evening learning how to cook our favourite Vietnamese dishes and enjoyed eating them with another family with kids. Fun, action-packed adventure.

Wow what a great tour! The bike ride from the hotel to local market was fun and educational. The bike ride to the Cooking Class was thru the rice field and vegetable garden. The Cooking class was was fun, our guide the whole tour did a great job educating us and a wonderful job teaching us how to make 4 items while taking pictures of us replicating what she had showed us how and what to do. The food was great and they even allowed us to ride the bikes over to the tailor afterwards where they picked up the bikes. I would highly recommend!

Min was a wonderful host! Every aspect of the tour was great - the market tour, biking in the beautiful rice fields was really special, and of course the cooking was so fun. Min explained all of the steps very clearly and was patient when we made mistakes. Min also loves to joke which made the experience so fun . I highly recommend this tour!

I always avail tours whenever I go abroad, but this one was the most memorable. We were immersed in Vietnamese culture in the most fun way possible-- we went Biking, enjoyed the coconut boat ride, tried farming, had foot massage and the last one, we had a cooking class. I thought it was for the sake of doing it, but our tour guide Min was really taking it seriously and she's not even looking at the time and never rushed it. She made sure we really learned at the same time enjoyed. Her whole family was also very welcoming and kind. Min was like a close friend, it really felt like home with them. Don't hesitate in booking this tour!! You will not regret it.

We had the best day ever with Jessica and her family . We started our day tour , with bikes at our accommodation, rode to the local markets where we purchased our ingredients for our cooking class. These markets were so fresh and interesting. We were lucky enough to select our own menu for our cooking. We then rode through the rice fields and country side, seeing water buffalo’s. We then participated in farming with Jessica’s Uncle, who was very entertaining. Totally enjoyed a foot massage. Then the cooking began. Jessica had excellent English and brought the fun factor to the kitchen. We created decorations and delicious meals, with herbs and spices. I learned so much during our class, things we will be able to replicate back home with copies of recipes. We both had the most fun, a real highlight of our holiday. 10/10 highly recommend.

Our group had a wonderful time with Min!! She's a great chef and has a great sense of humour. Our cooking class and meal were MUCH more than expected and included a foot and shoulder massage prior to cooking! We liked touring the fields and learning about their organic farming methods as well as helping a (very) little bit. Min has already sent us her recipes and we look forward to cooking them at home in Colorado. We HIGHLY recommend Lemon Basil and especially Min!!!!

One of the best cooking classes we have done. So authentic and the staff were so helpful and friendly! Was an authentic experience. We got to eat our meal which we all enjoyed and were so satisfied after our veggie gardening, and boat ride!

I had an incredible experience on this tour with Min. We ventured by bike from town to the coconut forest for basket boat rides. Cycling was a great way to take in the scenic views of the fields. The cooking class was a highlight- it was very interactive and a fantastic way to learn more about Central Vietnamese cuisine. We made spring rolls, papaya salad, fish in clay pot and Vietnamese pancakes - all were very delicious! The instructions were clear and the team’s warmth and guidance made the class even more enjoyable. Learning to carve animals and flowers out of vegetables was a delightful touch! Min also took us on a tour of their farm in front of the restaurant, where we observed their organic farming practices and even tried to plant seedlings and water crops ourselves. The herbal foot massage was a great way to end the tour. Min is very kind and accommodating and made our day very special. I would highly recommend this activity to anyone visiting Hoi An!
