Emerald Bay State Park
A small sheltered section on the west shore, the Emerald Bay State Park is one of the loveliest areas of Lake Tahoe. Emerald Bay is surrounded by forested hillsides of glacier-carved granite and dotted with a tiny islet at its center. Because the bay is slightly shallower than the rest of Lake Tahoe, the waters take on a striking blue-green color. Along the rugged shoreline of Emerald Bay are serene hiking trails with breathtaking panoramic vistas.

5.00We had so much fun on the boat. Bryan was a great captain. We saw lots of the lake and swam in beautiful water. Such a great way to spend the day and learn more about the lake!

5.00Brian was an amazing Captain shared a lot of history of the lake and area. Gave us time to enjoy stops and gave us a great recommendation for do. I highly recommend this excursion l. Great to be able to just ride versus renting a boat

5.00A great day out, Bryan was so friendly and knew so much about the lake and the surrounding countryside, nothing was too much trouble, beautiful boat, snacks and drinks included, he even drove us back to where our car was parked (which was over a mile away due to a very busy weekend at the marina) :-)

5.00Bryan, our captain, was wonderful! Very accommodating, laid back, but extremely informative! We enjoyed learning about the history of all the stops along the way and hearing stories about some of the different passengers he has had on the boat.
Wonderful afternoon on the lake :)

5.00We went out on the water for a half day tour with Bryan & he did a wonderful job of hitting the highlights of South Lake Tahoe & providing interesting details about the area. He was very knowledgable & friendly. We would highly recommend his tour to others & would consider doing it again on a future visit!

5.00One of ours best days, beautiful views, refreshing water, lots of snacks, water, sodas, life jackets even for Our 16 months old baby captain was super friendly he made us feel super comfortable, 1000% recommended we’ll be back for sure next year!!! Maybe with more time 2 hours is not enough 😪///// uno de nuestros mejores días, hermosas vistas, refrescante agua para nadar, snacks, agua en botella, sodas, chalecos salvavidas vidas hasta para nuestro bebé de 16 meses, El Capitan fue súper amigable nos hizo sentir muy cómodos, 1000% recomendado, regresaremos el próximo año con más tiempo de seguro porque dos horas no es suficiente!

5.00Brian was a great captain! He provided very informative information that was interesting about So Lake Tahoe. We also had an opportunity to go swimming in a beautiful part of the lake. Our kids loved it! We highly recommend you do this private boat tour if you’ve never been to Tahoe and you want to enjoy every part of it!!!
