It is forbidden to bring any kind of food or drinks (except water) on board.
If You are having a special event or You would like to bring Your own snacks or cold drinks on board in can be agreed separately (after booking confirmation You will receive e-mail and phone number where You can discuss all details, confirmation is mandatory), cleaning fee will apply - 25 EUR (up to 4 persons), 50 EUR (up to 9 persons). Please take in account that things like - red wine / red drinks, junk food/food that stain (crisps, smoked products, burgers, fries, sauces, chocolate, etc.), berries (blueberries, cherries blackberries, etc.) will be forbidden on boat.
It is forbidden to enter the captain's boat in high heeled shoes, shoes with pointed heels, shoes that leave streaks (It is recommended to wear footwear with light soles).
It is forbidden to get off or jump off the boat without the Captain's permission.
It is forbidden to smoke (including electronic cigarettes).
Children under the age of 12 must wear life jackets when boarding the boat and must be worn throughout the whole boat trip (life jackets are provided for all passengers). Parents are fully responsible for the behavior of their children’s whilst on the boat.
It is forbidden to bring any kind of pets on board (including any kind of small lap dog). In special cases in can be agreed separately to allow bring Your pet on the boat (should be agreed at least 2 days before), cleaning fee will apply - starting from 100 EUR
It is forbidden to bring suitcases, large luggage, bicycles, scooters, baby carriages, etc. on board.
If any of the rules above are violated, the trip may be interrupted or cancelled, and the payment will not be refunded.
Bachelor and drinking parties are not ALLOWED on the boat!
The route could be change due to bad weather conditions, like strong wind / rain. In case of high water level in City Canal, route could be change from City Canal cruise to Daugava River cruise. In unsafe weather conditions, which are dangerous tour can be canceled.

Andrejosta is the starting point of the tour. The area is surrounded by restaurants and bars where you can enjoy food and drinks before or after your tour. Captain's Boat Dāvids is moored at Pier C, ready to welcome you aboard.
Half of the tour takes place in the Riga City Canal, offering stunning views and fantastic architecture in every direction.

5.00Nice peaceful private boat ride through the Riga Canal & Daugava River. Janis was accommodating with some blankets especially with the unseasonably cold weather in August. Pre-tour great communication about starting point in the harbor yacht club, tho for future guests I’d add a picture of the last step which is where to wait at the gate to access the dock. Boat was seaworthy, safe & clean. Very enjoyable.

4.00A relaxing, peaceful way to see the city from the river and canal. It was a lovely way to start our break in Riga. Janis was informative about the architecture and significant buildings also giving us recommendations for places to eat.

5.00Great tour! Boat was in superb condition and the route through the Canal first and then the river was great. It is definitely not a classic sightseeing tour. If you want to know all the details about all historic buildings along the way, I wouldn't recommend. BUT if you just want to have a good time with your partner/family/friends, go for it. Also you might get wet, so dress appropriately.

5.00Absolutely brilliantly trip on a private tour. The boat was immaculate and captain very friendly and informative. He started the tour early as we were there well in advance. Could not wish for a better introduction to Riga. Thank you

3.00David's boat is a speed boat, which is cool except when we got wet from splashing water on the river. He should add splash guards. More time was spent on the river than the canals. His narration was limited. Not sure due to lack of interest or language. I should have booked only a canal tour.

4.00We did enjoy our boat trip but it didn’t start off too good. We followed the directions to the boat club from our email. When we arrived we had no idea where the boat actually was so we had to ask.There were no signs etc. someone kindly gave us directions. When we arrived at what we thought was our destination a man came to look at our ticket. He was a little puzzled because he had no record of our booking but we had had a terrible storm which took out the power and internet so he thought that was was the reason he hadn’t received an email about our looking. He couldn’t do the time we had booked but could do it two hours later. We then had to kill time. We went back at the new time and he looked again at our ticket only to realise our booking wasn’t with him. This was a little frustrating because we had missed our original booking with whoever it was meant to be with. We had absolutely no idea that there was another company doing trips as well. Fortunately the owners of these boating tours were friends and they worked it out together and fitted us in. The trip itself was lovely, not as long as expected and no explanations of where we were or what we were seeing, so that was a little disappointing. We had expected more from a private boat tour. We are still thankful that we were fitted in but at the same time don’t think it was our fault. Directions and explanations needed to be clearer

5.00We had a very nice time on a boat getting to know Riga a bit more! Boat is very nice and comfortable. Luxurious feel. Would definitely recommend
