Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary

Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary is a nature reserve and temple complex in Ubud, Bali. It houses approximately 800 monkeys which are known as long-tailed Macaques (Macaca fascicularis). There are four groups of monkeys each occupying different territories in the park. The Sacred Monkey Forest is a popular tourist attraction in Ubud and is often visited by over 10,000 tourists a month.

Saraswati Temple

Pura Taman Saraswati Temple Ubud, officially Pura Taman Kemuda Saraswati, also known as the Ubud Water Palace, is one of the most famous temples in Ubud. As you know, that the temple is a Hindu holy place in Bali, and the Saraswati temple is one of them. This temple is according to its name, the place of worship of Goddess Saraswati (Goddess of Knowledge). We booked a private car and driver for our family of five from Benoa Cruise Terminal on 4 December 2025 for a 3-hour shopping trip, and the experience was fantastic. The driver was punctual, friendly, and very knowledgeable about the best places to shop. The car was clean, comfortable, and perfect for our family. He drove safely, waited patiently at each stop. Overall, a smooth, stress-free experience. Highly recommended, and we would happily book again!

Budy was fantastic and so patient with the brutal traffic. Due to that and downpour, we didn’t get to see as much but enjoyed seeing the countryside.

We discussed our itinerary in advance with our Tour Guide, Gus, and he organised our tour accordingly. Our Tour included the Rice Terraces, the Tirta Empul Temple, Ubud and some waterfalls. It was the right mix of sights for us and was exactly what we had hoped for. Gus’ local knowledge was fantastic and he pointed out numerous points of interest to us throughout our trip. Gus was very enthusiastic about his job and keen to make sure we had a good time. His English was very good and he was extremely courteous at all times and provided water for our use. He also recommended an excellent restaurant where we had lunch. The car was well equipped, in excellent condition and was very well maintained and clean. I would highly recommend Gus Surya for any trip.
