We recommend 2 diffirent caves or place for a single day trip: Phong Nha cave and Paradise cave, Paradise cave or Dark cave, Botanical Garden is a quick stop before entering the national park's core zone. Phong Nha cave is not only a natural legacy of the world. It also stands as a relic system of the historic Ho Chi Minh trail which, during the US war, served as a secret hiding place for floating bridges that were only brought out at night to avoid targeted bombings. These bridges were key components in the supply chain from the north to the south by allowing supply trucks to cross the rivers. It also once served as a hospital, with weapons installed at the entrance. Once its location was discovered, it was heavily bombed, resulting in the external scarring you see today. This area has now become the first section of the ever popular Ho Chi Minh trail, as it showcases a lush, mountainous landscape. Paradise cave is the longest dry cave in Asia (located in Phong Nha – Ke bang National Park’s core zone. With naturally primitive features, Paradise Cave looks like a landscape painting; making it a natural wonder that many have enjoyed since its opening in 2010. According to spelunkers (cave explorers), the deeper one journeys into the cave, the more one feels the wells of heavenly clarity all around. The cave height can reach to 72 m and up to 150 m wide. There are a series of white crystal stalactites (limestone deposits) resembling natural pillars and many other spectacular formations. Dark cave is an adventurous and action-packed experience. Visiting this cave includes harnessed zip lining over a turquoise river, swimming into the mouth of the cave (lifejackets included), walking through the dark with only the head torch on your mining helmet to illuminate the way, having a mud fight in the buoyant mud baths deep in the cave, washing clean with a swim in the lake inside the cave, then kayaking back across the river to test your strength on the hanging obstacle course and open ziplines.

5.00We just have a wonderful Phong Nha cave private tour with Phong Nha Discovery and would like to recommend its services to people who has a similar need. Our tour was a whole day tour with visits to the Dark Cave and the Phong Nha Cave, plus a provided lunch break in between. Our young tour guide, Andy Bui, is excellent. We were extremely happy with his service and dedication; therefore we highly recommend this company and Andy to the public!

5.00This trip was fantastic start to finish! Tuyen aka “Chocolate”, our tour guide, was so knowledge and friendly. She took the time to chat with each couple, took some amazing photos for us and arranged our next tour! Quoc was a great and safe driver. We unfortunately ended up with a flat tire and there was a new van ready to pick up our group in under 10minutes. The restaurant was delicious and accommodated all diets. The caves were STUNNING! This tour is a must!!!

5.00Amazing tour with Victor who is an experienced guide and very nice person. His English is very good and he explains lot of interesting things about the Vietnamese culture and about the local area. The caves were amazing and the zip line an adventurous thing to do. Every aspect is organized well to run your day smoothly. Thank you guys! Shoutout to Victor!

5.00Terrific day with our guide Victor, great sense of humour. The caves were amazing, an absolute highlight. We had read reviews advising no shoes in the Dark Cave was an issue, but we didn't have a problem. Enjoy!

5.00We went to Paradise cave and the Dark Cave. The Dark Cave was absolutely fantastic. Lots of fun to be had spelunking, swimming and ziplining. Our guide, Victor, was an absolute legend. 100% recommend! The food was surprisingly good as well!

5.00We visited Dark Cave and Paradise Cave with our guide Victor. Victor picked us up on time from our hotel in Dong Hoi and we made our way to Phong Nha. We first visited Paradise cave which was very interesting. We then headed off for a great lunch before making our way to dark cave. The only negative was that they do not highlight that max weight to zip line is 90kg. The tour of dark cave was great fun and very unique. Would highly recommend
