We will arrive at the first refuge by car, we will have an acclimatization time. We walk towards the Cóndor Cocha lagoon 5100 masl Later we went to the community of La Moya. Of this time we will take 90 minutes to reach the site.
In the community we are welcomed by the horn player, and we enjoy lunch and then continue with a tour of the community and learn about its history. We will visit the mountain museum and we will be able to learn about the activities carried out by women, together with the community guide

5.00I cannot recommend this tour enough! :-D Diana was incredibly friendly, flexible, and always willing to go the extra mile to accommodate our requests. Nothing felt like too much trouble for her. We were lucky with the weather, and Chimborazo was at its absolute best, offering truly breathtaking views. Diana was wonderfully patient, especially as we wanted to stop frequently to take photos and enjoy the scenery. She kept us well informed throughout the experience while also giving us plenty of space to enjoy quality time as a family. The community visit felt very authentic and added a special touch to the trip. I have now been twice ! If I have friends from abroad visiting Ecuador, I make sure I contact Diana for a special tour!

5.00My 13 and 22 year old children and I took this excursion accompanied by tour operator Diana Guevara. Everything was excellent and exactly as described. Diana is very attentive, patient, and knows the region well. The walk in Chimborazo is an experience of completeness with nature. Lunch is homemade, fresh, well prepared. The women of the LaMoya community are wonderful, very kind and allow for a rich cultural exchange full of learning. I recommend this tour for families, with slightly older children who can handle the walk.

5.00I am solo traveller, and joined Diana's Chimborazo & Moya community tour. I am English speaker (No Spanish) but Diana took care of everything!! You can enjoy 300m altitude trekking from 4,800m with a great views & learn Quichua culture and history!! Recommend to join the tour for backpacker, couple, non-Spanish speaker!!
