The Bund (Wai Tan)

This tower is an iconic landmark and it's one of the most pupular attractions in Shanghai. The best picture of Oriental Pearl Tower that you can get is when you see it and take the picture on the Bund.

Bund International Architecture Exhibition

The buildings are western architecture and have been kept in excellent working condition by the chinese government. There are more than 50 buildings on the west bank of Huangpu River. Peace hotel is the highlight.

Riverside Promenade (Bingjiang Da Dao)

Take a stroll on the waterfront Promenade on the Bund is a must in Shanghai. The waterfront Promenade provides the best view of the "old" part of Shanghai with colonial Europian architectures on the close side, and the "new" part of Shanghai with Chinese ultra morden architectures on the far side of the river. Shanghai World Financial Center

This place is very close to Shanghai Tower, and it's not far from the Oriental Pearl Tower as well. Actally, you are not just passing by it. If you choose to visit Shanghai Tower, you will walk in front of this tall building and take a great close-up picture of it.

Old Town (Nanshi)

Fantastic old buildings and great shopping with food places that line the laneways underneath old historic buildings. People can get plenty of food, drinks, clothes and souvenirs here.

Yu Garden (Yuyuan)

Yu Garden presents exquisite examples of traditional landscaping. Shanghai Museum (Shanghai Bowuguan)

Longhua Temple

The Classical Gardens of Suzhou

The Classical Gardens of Suzhou are a group of gardens in the city of Suzhou, in Jiangsu, which have been added to the UNESCO World Heritage List. Humble Administrator's Garden

The Humble Administrator’s Garden is the largest and most famous classic garden in Suzhou. Its exquisite beauty, artistic value, and historic significance established the garden, as one of China’s four most famous gardens.

Pingjiang Road

Master-of-Nets Garden

West Lake (Xi Hu)

Bai Causeway

Although this place is quite crowded, it still has a peaceful environment. People are calm and enjoy the view. The lake looks just amazing. Great place to take a walk or take a electric tram.

Three Pools Mirroring the Moon

This is the best sight among the Top 10 scenic sights in West Lake. There are 4 pools in this sight. Just off the southern side of the sight are three small pagodas, each about 2m high. At the moon festival, lighted candles are placed in these pagodas, so that the light from them reflects on the water, mirroring the moon.

Su Causeway

In the fourth year of Emperor Yuanyou of the Song Dynasty(1089), Su Shi, a famous Song litterateur and then mayor of Hangzhou lauched a West Lake dredging project. A byproduct of the lake dredging project was a 2.8 kilometer (1.74 miles) long embankment built with silt dredged from the lake. In memory of Su Shi, local people named the embankment Su Causeway. It's an ideal place for a relaxed walk. Along the path flanked by lush greenery. You will be captivated by the enchanted vistas like the arching bridge reflections in the water or the majestic pagoda in the distance. These charming “scenes” and vistas have poetic descriptive Chinese names.

Fei Lai Feng

Amazing to see all of the different statues embedded into the stone. You can walk along a path right under them, or take a stroll on the larger road which is set back further to really see the scale of it and a multiplicity of carved statues there. There are several historically fascinating temples inside of this park, including Hangzhou Yongfu Monastery and the most famous Lingyin Temple.

Lingyin Temple

It is one of the largest and wealthiest Buddhist temples in China. According to tradition, the monastery was founded in 328 AD, but has been destroyed and rebuilt no less than 16 times. During the Five Dynasties period (907–960) about 3000 monks lived here. At the end of the tour, take the bullet train back to your hotel in Shanghai.
