We joined the free food tour around Sofia in Bulgaria organised by Balkan Bits. It was fantastic. We tried a lot of different foods and drinks and were given a lot of information about the origins of the things we tried. It was a 2 hour tour and I would highly recommend it.

We had a fantastic experience on the Sofia walking tour with Free Sofia Tour. Our guide Kris was knowledgeable, engaging, and clearly passionate about the city’s history and culture. The tour was very well structured, covering both the main landmarks and lesser-known spots, which made it especially interesting. What we appreciated most was the balance between historical facts and storytelling – it never felt like a lecture, but rather a lively and insightful conversation. My wife, I and another couple of friends did the Free Sofia Tour Boyan, our guide is very qualified as well as having a good sense of humor, this experience for us is and will be unforgettable, the best walking tour we have ever done. I really enjoyed the tour. Giorgi (I think it is written) knew Sofia's story very well and the tour has been very enjoyable and entertaining. The visit lasted about two hours and we went in a group of about 15 people, which made it comfortable to ask questions. Highly recommended.

We had an amazing experience on our tour in Sofia thanks to our guide Yoan. He was truly impressive – funny, quirky, and full of lightning-fast humor that kept everyone entertained throughout. At the same time, he shared a wealth of historical information in a way that was easy to follow and very engaging. I really appreciated his genuine attitude toward his country and the pride he showed in sharing its story. He had a wonderful vibe – pleasant to listen to, respectful to everyone in the group, and able to balance humor with meaningful insights perfectly. This tour was both fun and enriching, and I’d highly recommend him to anyone visiting Sofia!

We had a pleasant tour with a nice tour guide who was very nice and funny. We learned a bit more about the sights in Sofia and were very happy about it.
