  Mihaela was an excellent guide for our Dubrovnik wall tour—knowledgeable, engaging, and attentive throughout. She shared fascinating history and local insights while keeping the pace comfortable, and she knew the best spots for photos and views. Her passion for the city really stood out, and she made the experience far more memorable than if we had walked the walls on our own.

  Walking the walls in Dubrovnik is a ‘must do’ and our guide Melhana (hopefully have spelt correctly!) made it a very interesting tour by talking us through the far reaching past up to the more recent historical events. Her passion for this beautiful city and its culture was clearly communicated in excellent English. There are plenty of steps, so beware (!) but the views across the city and the streets below with their terracotta roofs are well worth the climb! Thank you

  Mihaela was our guide. She was very well informed, we learned quite a bit about the history of Croatia. She was very fun friendly and personable. She has a great sense of humor. We can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed our time with her.

  Dubrovnik is fascinating. Such a beautiful city, full of wonders and rich history. Our guide Mihaela was excellent! Communicative, friendly, very helpful, and one of the best I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting.

  Walking the city walls is an absolute must, especially after reading about their remarkable construction and thousand-year history. It was a sunny day, April has unpredictable weather in Dubrovnik but we were very lucky enough so the photos we took on the tour all look amazing. Mihaela wasn’t rushing with the tour, it took us roughly two hours to do the whole tour. First we took a walk on the part of the walls just next to the sea, where supposedly oldest parts of the city lie. She explained how the city developed throughout centuries from initially rather small settlement, and how the construction of the walls grew bigger with the continuous threats the city had to face. Some narrow parts of the walls can feel overcrowded at times, but she would let us know every time we could find a good spot for photos to avoid huge crowds. The latter part of the city walls was the most impressive, as it sits slightly higher and offered a stunning panoramic view of the entire city, its rooftops, and the island of Lokrum. We stopped there for a bit longer, so she could explain the construction of the huge fortress, and she even helped us with some photos. She addressed all our questions regarding Dubrovnik and provided insight into daily life there as a local.

  This was a very informative walk on the wall at a comfortable pace. Took about two to two and a half hours. Guide was knowledgeable and friendly. She answered all our questions and gave us great insight into the history as well as current day living situation within the city walls. We had visited Dubrovnik a few years earlier and saw the old town from the streets. To see it from above gave us an even greater appreciation and perspective. The photo opportunities from the wall were outstanding. So glad we did this.

  We just did this tour with Micaela and we loved it. She is a local girl, she knows a lot and has told us a lot of interesting things about the history of Dubrovnik in a very pleasant way and in perfect Spanish. Highly recommended!

  My experience was simply amazing. We left in the morning, and were immediately delighted by the spectacular view of the city, the sea and the surrounding islands. Mihaela was extremely kind and professional, sharing fascinating information about the history of Dubrovnik, its construction and significance over the centuries and my favorite of all: fun facts. :) The tour of the walls itself offers a unique opportunity to feel the history of the city, and climbing the old stone steps offers incredible panoramic views (great pictures). For history buffs or simply for those who want to enjoy beautiful landscapes, this is an experience not to be missed. The walls of Dubrovnik are not only impressive due to their magnificent construction, but also provide a feeling of returning to the past and an incredible sense of pride in the cultural heritage of this wonderful city. I will definitely come back and recommend this tour to anyone who wants to experience Dubrovnik from a different perspective!
