At our cooking workshop, you'll always be in the best company. I’m a licensed national tour guide, and my son is a passionate chef. Together, we make the perfect team. We’ll share with you the culinary secrets passed down from our grandmother—everything from recipes to preparation techniques, and the importance of choosing the finest ingredients. We are the exclusive hosts in Slovenia authorized by the National Ministry of Food Safety and fully certified to welcome you to our private home kitchen. When you return back to your own home kitchen and need a little extra advice, we’ll always be there for you. Because once you’ve been with us in our kitchen, you’ll always have a place in our hearts.

Important Note: We only serve alcoholic drinks for travelers 21 years old and above. Minor travelers below 21 years old will be served non-alcoholic drinks.

Wine and Food Cool Tour We pick you up with a comfortable van. We proceed to our house near Ljubljana where we welcome you with a homemade appetizer. We soon get ready for the cooking workshop. Together we prepare traditional Slovenian dish, which is suitable also for vegetarians. There is no good meal without homemade drinks, including wine, beer, natural juice and fresh crystal-clear water. Of course we only use organically grown local seasonal ingredients for the delicious dishes we prepare and we proudly present local, the highest quality of slovenian wine and juices in our home kitchen in Domžale, near Ljubljana. During the tour… …we talk about Slovenian history, natural and cultural heritage, people and our habits, food and the weather of course, we teach you some Slovenian words and phrases and have really good time. What do we provide? Food and drinks and all the equipment for the culinary workshop, including aprons.

5.00Alenka gave us the true experience of being with a loving Slovenian family. Her son Luka picked us up at our hotel and drove us to their home while telling us about their country along the way. The food and wine were exceptional. We made dessert together. A beautiful evening.

5.00It was a Sunday and it’s a rest day but upon being canceled last minute by another irresponsible tour offering culinary experience (Island of cooking Ljubljana - please do not book with them, it was booked a month ago and he came a day before saying that he saw the wrong schedule so be prepared to be cancelled by this irresponsible cook who blocks you on WhatsApp too), Alenka went the extra mile to offer the tour despite being her grandson’s birthday! She brought me around the old centre and I ate some traditional foods before we went to her home and she whipped up some simple dinner with the traditional strucklji. It was impressive seeing how traditional recipes were handed down and made with precision and love. Of course, I saw her lovely grandchildren too! She drove me back to the hotel and told me to contact her if I have any issues. It was an experience into the life of the locals which I think is priceless! Not to mention, there were great views of the alps on the way to her home.

5.00I was picked up at my hotel in Ljubljana and brought to s house about 15 minutes outside of Ljubljana . The experience was wonderful Cooking traditional food , learning about the area, the history and just talking food! Friendly, fun and clean.
