This historical 4.5 to 6.5-hour tour is conducted by a qualified Dachau Concentration Camp Memorial site guide. You will be picked up by your driver from either your Munich city center hotel or a hotel around Munich International Airport. After your tour at the Memorial site you will return to your hotel or back to Munich airport.

5.00I would highly recommend the private tour of Dachau. Our guide Markus was very knowledgeable uses an interactive style with his clients to not only tell the story of Dachau but ensure the clients consider the broader implications of the story not only for Germany but even for today’s world.

5.00Nick was our guide and so much fun! He gives a great explanation of each stop on the tour and all the beers we tasted. Dinner was hearty and delicious!

5.00We had Scott (a fellow Australian) take our private tour to Dachau. Scott was so knowledgeable and handled the serious nature of the tour with sensitivity and respect. Our two children (15, 13) learned a lot without finding the information too distressing and we all came away with the a new understanding of the camp and its history. Scott also gave an interesting insight into the views of the current generation of German’s and the way in which the atrocities of Nazism are being acknowledged and addressed. I would highly recommend this tour, particularly the private tour aspect as it allows you to hear the history being told rather than only having the opportunity to read about a small part of it during a rushed tour. We felt the cost was well worth the investment to learn about the camp and honour those who lived and died there.

5.00Our tour guide, Marcin was first-rate. He transported our group in our minds to give us a glimpse of the horrors the prisoners experienced. This tour is life changing. I am so glad we booked this private tour instead of trying it on our own. We learned so much. All of our questions were answered. Thank you Marcin!
