Kunming stone forest is about 92 kilometers far away from Kunming city, it is a 5 A tourist site also it’s listed into UNESCO World Heritage Sites
The tall rocks seem to arise from the ground in a manner somewhat reminiscent of stalagmites, or with many looking like petrified trees, thereby creating the illusion of a forest made of stone. An old local goes that if you have visited Kunming without seeing the Stone Forest means you never been to Yunnan then you know how important it is, every day lots of people from all over the world would like to visit it.
Then you will visit Cuihu lake it’s also called Jade lake. There are 4 small pounds and all linked by bridges. Each season the view is different and in winter the Black Headed Gull from Siberia will spend their winter time in the lake, in each season you will see different flowers. It’s like a garden with traditional pavilions which attracts many tourists as well as locals every day.

5.00Thoroughly enjoyed our day tour of the Stone Forest and the Green Lake! Our guide Janet was very informative, patient and attentive to our needs. We learned a lot about the sites we visited and the history of the Yunnan province from her. Lunch was good. We felt very safe as our driver was very careful through the traffic. Highly recommend, 10/10!!!

3.00I went to stone forest on April 2023 at that time it’s have a lot of people at first I’m not enjoy that much because it’s hot and it’s too many people but the view great so I will give it 3/5

5.00We had the most memorable family tour with China Kungfu panda travels. We felt everything was great, our guide Jessica and driver truly cared about us which was amazing. They did their best to make the trip remarkable. This journey was something we will cherish for many years to come. We will cherish the comfort and beauty of Stone forest, & history we learned from our competent guide and the delicious food. It was one of the best trips in our life.
