We invite you to join us on a special cultural tour. It includes a visit to the most appreciated and famous castles in Romania, Peles Castle and Bran Castle (Dracula’s Castle). Last part of the day will take us to Rasnov Fortress or to Poiana Brasov.
And, because we like to be flexible, we suggest that you choose the last stop yourself. So, if you are passionate about history and don’t want to miss the Rasnov Fortress, you can choose to visit it. Alternatively, we can go to Poiana Brasov, for a pleasant walk in the most famous mountain resort in Romania.
So, if you have decided to visit Transylvania and discover its history, you are in the right place.
This trip is suitable for both, private groups and independent travelers. So you can come with your friends and family. Children will surely enjoy visiting these places too.

Peles Castle
The first stop we make is at Peles Castle. It is considered the most important historical (German-influenced) architectural ensemble in Romania. Due to its historical and artistic value, it remains one of the most important and beautiful monuments in Europe and one of the most visited tourist attractions in Romania (2nd place after Bran Castle). The castle will surely impress you by its opulence, by the fact that it has 160 rooms, and that at its time it was fully electrified. It also had an elevator and a movable glass ceiling which opened on demand. The king used to impress his guests by showing them the starry summer night sky.
Bran Castle (Dracula's Castle)
Next Stop: Dracula's Castle, supposedly to be the residence of Count Dracula You won’t regret a moment if you choose to visit this castle, especially since it is located quite close to Brasov. You will be simply enchanted by the beauty of the castle and especially by the location and surroundings. So I invite you to let yourself be carried away by history and culture and you will leave home with an extraordinary positive charge of your soul. Bran Castle is steeped in history. The character of Count Dracula first appears in the novel “Dracula”, written by the Irish writer Bram Stoker and published in 1897 in England. Originally the name Dracula is not at all frightening. It derives from the name given to an order of crusaders, the Order of the Dragon, with which both Vlad the Impaler and his father Vlad Dracul (a member of this order) were associated.

5.00Our guide Ramona was perfect from start to finish. She speaks great English, and is very clear and easy to understand. She pitched the detail exactly how we wanted it, and changed the arrangements based on our needs. It was a great trip. I would recommend her unreservedly for anyone wanting a trip from Braşov.

5.00Ramona was fantastic. She did everything she could to ensure we had a great experience. We were first in to Peles Castle and therefore could experience with minimum disruption from crowds infront of us. This did mean going through at a pace but still enough time to listen and view it all. The Citadel was not available so she offered an alternative experience and offered advice on best ways to maximise time and money. She was knowledgeable on the history of the area and shared this with passion. Her vehicle was comfortable and clean.

5.00What a legend! Dinu, our tour guide, was not only super knowledgeable but also hilarious and so much fun to hang out with. He has this way of making history and culture feel exciting instead of boring, and he sprinkled in just the right amount of jokes and stories to keep us entertained the whole time. Honestly, it felt like exploring with a really smart friend who knows all the secret spots. He made sure everyone felt comfortable, answered every random question we threw at him, and somehow managed to make the whole group laugh and learn at the same time. Definitely the highlight of our trip! Now here’s the twist—we didn’t even want to leave this review. Not because he wasn’t amazing (he totally was), but because he’s our little secret and we don’t want anyone stealing him from us. But he insisted we write something, so fine… here it is. I hope he is not booked by somebody else when we come back 😂!

5.00We had a wonderful day as a family of three exploring Peles Castle, Cantacuzino Castle, and Bran Castle with our guide, Ramona. From the moment she picked us up at our hotel in Brașov Old Town at 8am, everything was easy and enjoyable. Ramona spoke excellent English, which made her detailed stories and explanations even more engaging. She is knowledgeable, kind, and personable – sharing fascinating history and even a true story about Vlad the Impaler that really brought the past to life. She was attentive to our pace and needs, making the trip feel relaxed and personal. Her safe driving was reassuring, but what truly stood out was her warmth and character, which made the experience so special. We would highly recommend both the tour and Ramona as a guide!

5.00Dinu was our guide for the day. He was so communicative and always concerned with our comfort and satisfaction. He was amazing. He made sure we were always informed of our location and what was coming up next. He was so knowledgeable about all the places we visited as well as Romanian history and the country. Great sense of humor and spoke great English. We loved all the places we visited but would not have enjoyed the day half as much if it wasn’t for Dinu.
