Peles Castle
Peleș Castle is a magnificent Neo-Renaissance fortress in the Carpathian Mountains near Sinaia. Built between 1873 and 1914 under King Carol I’s orders as a royal residence and hunting lodge, it blends Germanic Renaissance, Gothic Revival, and Baroque styles. The castle is surrounded by landscaped gardens and offers stunning mountain views. Inside, it has over 160 rooms, including royal apartments, libraries, and a collection of European art, sculptures, and medieval weapons. Known for its intricate woodwork, stained glass windows, and elaborate décor, Peleș reflects Romania’s royal opulence. The Royal Armoury displays a rich collection of medieval weapons. As one of Romania’s most popular attractions, Peleș Castle is a symbol of royal heritage and architectural excellence. Its picturesque location in a lush forest makes it a must-see destination in Transylvania. !!!! On Mondays and Tuesdays, Peleș Castle is closed inside. Only the gardens and exterior can be visited.
Bran Castle

A Day in Romania Long to Be Remembered

5.00Bogdan, a kind, soft-spoken gentleman arrived at exactly eight o'clock and my niece and I began our twelve-hour trip to visit Bran, Peles and Brasov. All while telling us about the history of where we were going and where we were actually driving, Bogdan skillfully piloted the comfortable, impeccably clean car through the heavy Monday morning traffic. We exchanged some small personal stories all in taking in the sights and listening to the answers to our many questions. Bogdan was kind and patient, going beyond the norm to make us feel well informed and comfortable. It was a wonderful experience and all will be long remembered

5.00Bogdan was just wonderful! Our private day trip was worth every single penny he was so knowledgeable, patient, kind ,and very genuine. You can tell that he truly has a passion for what he does. I was traveling with my aunt who due to medical reasons is unable to move around as fluidly as she would like. Bogdan was incredibly respectful, and just went out of his way to make sure that we both felt so comfortable, at one point it started to rain and he quickly provided umbrellas, took our parcels from us and dashed to the car, bringing it to a different meeting spot to help us to stay dry! I would highly recommend him and look forward to the possible opportunity of taking another tour with him in the future.

5.00The tour was great! Ottaviano, the guide, was immediately available, friendly and prepared. He explained and illustrated many facets of local culture, including their history and even related legends! I highly recommend the experience!

5.00Had an amazing day with our lovely and knowledgeable guide Octavian. He has a wealth of knowledge about the history and the places we saw (Peles Castle, Bran Castle and Brasov) and also helped us save money along the way. I would highly recommend this tour which is great value for money and very enjoyable.

5.00We had a great day with Octavian. He was polite, friendly and had interesting facts about Romania and its history. He had good tips for us along the way and nothing was any trouble. Peles Castle is beautiful inside, so many different styles. Bran Castle is the classic and Brasov was very picturesque. Thank you Octavian for a wonderful tour.

5.00We had a wonderful trip with Octavian as our guide. We felt in such safe hands. He got us safely to our destination- incredible driving skills as he had to navigate through ice and snow. Totally worth it though as the scenery was out of this world amazing. Octavian was very knowledgeable on the history of the castle and answered all of our questions. I cannot rate this tour company highly enough! Five stars!
