Valley of the Kings

5.00Our private day trip for two to Luxor was perfect from start to finish. Great value for money. The entrance fees of the sights were included in the price. We didn't have to wait or queue anywhere. Our driver Omar picked us up from the hotel in Marsa Alam with his car on time at 3am and drove quickly and safely, so we were there at the first Tourist Convoy at checkpoint and arrived early in Luxor. So we had plenty of time. There Egyptologist Mark welcomed us warmly. Mark is better than google and chat gpt. He knows very much and has explained everything to us and skilfully directed past the tourist streams to the top sights: karnak temple, colossus of memnon and kings valley and Hatshepsut temple. Lunch restaurant was tasty buffet and nice garden next to Nile and all very friendly and accommodating. Hygienically clean toilets were great. The private boat trip on and over the Nile was also very impressive. Mark/legacy have everything perfectly organized. We didn't have to worry about anything ourselves. Marc also "protected" us from the dealers and sellers. A few single dollars as a tip for driver, guide, tomb guide is always good in Egypt eg for boaters then he drives a little further along the Nile to the "Agatha Christie Hotel". Egyptians are very hardworking and often work 12 hours days or even 24 hours. Mark also took a lot of great photos and videos of us with his company iphone (very great picture and video quality) and knows the best background info and the greatest photo spots because he has years of experience. He offered us a visit to alabaster workshop, which was interesting. In Kings valley he recommended the three best graves that were included in the entrance fee. K. 14 we also visited that we found very special because a woman/queen is also buried here. He also told us a lot about the country and people and situation in Egypt. We were completely satisfied. At 9pm we were back at the hotel in Marsa Alam. Thanks Marc, Omar and Legacy Tours!

5.00Our experience with Mahmood was great. He was prepared, kind and very nice. He showed us archaeological sites, the city and we concluded with a great meal! Highly recommended.

5.00We completed this day trip together with our guide Mark, who is an experienced Egyptologist. Everything was perfectly organized. Starting from the pick-up, entrance, dining at the local restaurant on the Nile, to the individual points of the tour. Even booking additional sights was easily possible. It was a very long day and also exhausting, but we were able to experience a lot through it. Our special thanks to Mark for the extensive information and the indulgence that it took us a little longer in some places. He was a very friendly and patient guide and the good communication in German made things very easy for us. We can only highly recommend this private tour, because in a tour group with bus much would not have been possible at all. As a tip, book the Habu Temple on the trip, costs an extra fee, but that is really worth it! Enjoy all those who decided to go on this day trip.

5.00We left very early from our resort in Marsa Alam, the driver was very punctual! After a few stops and a driver change we arrived in Luxor around 8.30am. Our guide Maddalena was fantastic! He gave us historical and cultural information cheering our visit with stories and anecdotes that we did not know! The lunch was also delicious. Also being a private tour you can customize your experience.. Highly recommended!

5.00Our trip was great, very well organised, everyone was punctual. We got a lot of explanations which was very interesting. Three attractions and the boat was perfect for one day - even doable with small kids. I can def recommend this trip (price is very fair for what you get)

5.00Our trip to Luxor was just great. The driver was punctual, respectful and very pleasant throughout the ride. The car was top, extremely comfortable and equipped with pleasant music. Our guide spoke very good German and made the day relaxed and away from mass tourism. We received an incredible amount of exciting information about the impressive sights, but also valuable insights into the life of the local people today. We were completely satisfied and very happy to have had such a great guide. The trip was great and highly recommended.

5.00Great experience! Maddalena is the best guide we have ever had the pleasure of meeting, punctual in explanations but also fun to listen to, you do not get bored for a moment. She has phenomenal preparation and you can feel just how much she loves her job. A real rarity! She was invaluable to better understand the Valley of the Kings, she told us about the Temple of Ramses III in a masterful way and we also greatly appreciated the details she told us about the Temple of Luxor. Being that my husband and I are spinning tops, perhaps the only thing we would have avoided was the felucca ride, which was still nice and enjoyable. In any case, 10/10 tours! Very satisfied

5.00An unforgettable trip to Luxor! It was all included as described. The food we were skeptical about at first really convinced us.. Super delicious! Both the driver and our tour guide were very friendly and competent. All questions could be answered. Also the short boat trip across the Nile was very impressive... Can only recommend!

5.00We met Hassan during a tour from Marsa Alam to Luxor and it was a simply extraordinary experience. From the first moment he proved to be an exceptional guide, welcoming, helpful and always attentive to our every need. His Italian is perfect, clear and engaging, and thanks to his great preparation we were able to fully understand the history and significance of incredible places such as the Valley of the Kings, the Valley of the Queens and all the wonderful sites visited in Luxor. He did not just explain: he made us live history, transmitting passion, curiosity and respect for this extraordinary civilization. In addition to competence, what really impresses is his kindness of mind: caring, present, always ready to help with a smile. With him you do not feel like simple tourists, but special guests, almost friends, family people. It was an intense day, full of emotions and knowledge, made unforgettable thanks to Hassan.
