When you are going to the north to the mountains in Georgia, there’s this one place, where you have to go through and it’s this Zhinvali Dam or water reservoir our first destination, which is a pretty beautiful place and usually the cars or tours stop there to have a look at this amazing nature and take photos, etc. Zhinvali (Jinvali) water reservoir, also known as a lake is located on the Georgian Military Highway. Soviets constructed the dam in the 1980s

Ananuri

Ananuri is a fortress situated on the foreland by the Aragvi River, not far from Zhinvali water reservoir and about 70 km from Tbilisi, Georgia. It was built by the Dukes of Aragvi and its earliest parts date from the 13th century
