Heididorf
Heididorf, located in the village of Maienfeld in eastern Switzerland, is a charming, picturesque destination known as the setting for Johanna Spyri’s classic novel Heidi. This small Swiss village has been transformed into a living museum that celebrates the story of Heidi and the natural beauty of the region. Features of Heididorf: 1. Heidi’s House: The main attraction is a reconstructed 19th-century Alpine house, designed to represent the home where Heidi lived with her grandfather. It is furnished with period-accurate items, offering a glimpse into rural life in the Swiss Alps during that time. 2. Johanna Spyri Museum 3. 4.00Thank you Mr. B! We had wonderful time. He was very prompt. He took us to the Laderach Chocolate Factory, where we sampled chocolates from 4 chocolate fountains, chocolate pieces and designed our own chocolate from molds provided. Next was to Heidiland, a venue we could have skipped, we did not realize it was a fictional place, next time we will do more research. The Liechtenstein is a small cute little country, built in the 1200’s, under three prince’s and one princess. A beautiful castle and church. We ate a nice pub with delicious food! Again, Thank you Mr B. for showing us around! You were excellent!

5.00We had a really good day tour. Pickup from our hotel was easy and smooth. The van was very comfortable and clean, and our driver was Knowledgeable. We also got passport stamp in Liechtenstein 🇱🇮 which was a nice memory. Overall nice day. Would recommend.
Wonderful private day trip from Zürich to Lichtenstein

5.00We had a most wonderful day. We wanted to just visit Lichtenstein, so Balihar arranged for a custom tour where he picked us up at the train station in Zürich and drove to Lichtenstein. On the way we stopped at a scenic overlook. Balihar is a wonderful and very knowledgeable guide. The tour was informative, very comfortable, the car is superb. We visited Vaduz town center, made a very interesting stop at Lichtenstein Post Museum, as well as the Treasure chamber, which is not to be missed. We then continued on to the Lichtenstein castle and the covered Old Rhine Bridge, which connects Liechtenstein and Switzerland . An added bonus is that Balihar is an excellent photographer. Overall, highly recommend the tour, it is fully customizable, just reach out and make arrangements with Balihar and you will have a wonderful time.

5.00Grest trip! Multiple stops, but we were never rushed at any time, and our guide, Balihar, was knowledgeable, open and friendly.
