For lovers of archeology and the ancient history of Tunisia
With us you can discover two exceptional archaeological sites, Dougga and Bulla Regia.
The first stop of our excursion is the visit of Testour, this village was founded by the Moorish people at the beginning of the 17th century. We will take a panoramic tour of the city, from the famous mosque to the beautiful minaret adorned with a clock whose hands turn counterclockwise.
Then we will continue to Dougga, the ancient Roman city of Thugga. We will appreciate the visit of the beautiful ruins wonderfully preserved if you are passionate about history and art: the theater, the capitol, the forum, the thermal baths, the houses, the place of the rose of the winds, the triumphal arch, the Libyco- Punic Mausoleum
Then you will visit Bulla Regia. This archaeological site is famous for its religious buildings: the capitol, the temple of Apollo, the two Christian basilicas, and the church of Alexander.

We had a fantastic day out visiting Testour, Dougga and Bella Regia. We immensely enjoyed exploring the Roman sites with our guide Faouzi who took us to visit all the key areas. Faouzi was knowledgeable and thorough and we appreciated his calm and unflustered approach throughout the day. We would highly recommend this day trip to all who enjoy visiting historic sites as these are some of the best preserved Roman sites anywhere. We would also like to give a special mention to our driver Rabir who had to travel over 200km there and back which he did swiftly and safely.

Wonderful Day. Pit stop in Testour for photos and pomegranate juice. Followed by the wonderful Dougga - roman ruins at their best. The wonderful Venus Temple and well preserved Roman theatre are among the best of a stunning site. Then a drive over the mountain to Bulla Regia - another super site. Very different and a little overgrown, which makes it even more surprising to discover scenic well preserved mosaic floors in underground homes: the Huntsman House, the Fishing Lodge and House of Amphitrite, to name three! After our trip - a much needed lunch at the museum entrance cafe - hot heart soup, salad and grilled turkey ! Then travel back to hotel via a surprise stop to Tunis Medina and a perfumerie. Wonderful Day and wonderful guide. Thank you.

Our guide was great. With the rain coming , he was focused to make sure we got to see everything expected about the tour before the rain poured. He is very knowledgeable , was so helpful with my friend who had walking issues plus he has a great sense of humor. I was so impressed with Dougga and Bulla Regia because they bring something different compared to other roman antiquities as emphasized by our guide.

This tour was amazing! The visit to Dougga was definitely a highlight, but the tour guide also stopped on the road from Testour to Dougga and let us see a Berber woman baking bread in an ancient furnace. We then got to eat the bread with some local ricotta from Testour and both were delicious. Chaouki was a very knowledgeable tour guide and he did a fantastic job.
