Historic Center of Vienna
Vienna entices visitors with its lavish, old world charm. Gothic cathedrals tower over richly ornamented baroque buildings and copper-dome palaces from the glory days of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. The romantic city on the Danube is famous for its coffee, confections and cafes, Lipizzaner horses and leafy boulevards, Sigmund Freud and Wiener Schnitzel, but it is a rich musical tradition - symphony, opera, philharmonic orchestra and Waltz. On your private tour you'll see the inner town and its Town Hall, Stephan`s Cathedral, the Parliament, the imperial Hofburg palace, Staatsoper and Burgtheater form the unique heart of this great city. Enjoy a lunch break in the city centre, free time, Viennese coffee and famous Sacher cake as you explore the city at your own pace.
We'll drive to marvelous Schonbrunn Palace , the summer residence of former Empress Elisabeth known as 'Sissi" (on request we'll book for you the Imperial or Grand Tour). We'll take a walk (and as many pictures as you wish) in the gardens and admire the Neptun Fountain, the Gloriette and numerous flowers. On the way home we'll stop to see Hundertwasser architecture.

5.00Peter is an amazing host. He picked us up in a nice minivan at a car park that was convenient. We had a one day trip to Bratislava. We visited the beautiful historic Devin castle and enjoyed all his memories and stories. We enjoyed walking the old town and saw the Blue Church. Great Slovakian food too. Highly recommended.

5.00I have now done 4 private day trips with Peter! I did two a few years ago and two in 2018. Peter is extremely knowledgeable, accommodating, delightfully pleasant and funny! I highly recommend you book a tour with Peter! You will be glad that you did and it will make your trip much more enjoyable! He knows where to go---how long to stay and what to focus on! I cannot say enough about Peter's tours---but I do know that if I go to Italy---I will have to go using the services he offers for that trip! Thank you again Peter and next time we must meet Jane!
