Greve in Chianti

After having met your driver at your accommodation in Florence, during the 45 minutes drive to reach Greve in Chianti, (the most famous village of the Chianti Classico countryside), he will explain all the details of your day, to be sure the schedule fits your needs. Once in Greve in Chianti, the birthplace of the famous Tuscan explorer Giovanni da Verrazzano, the Tuscan who discovered the New York Harbor, admire the Piazza Matteotti, a gently sloping square which is the hub of life in Greve; visit the many local shops and wine stores, including the famous butcher shop Falorni, or the Enoteca Le Cantine (one of the biggest wine shop in Tuscany)

We had a wonderful group of people on this tour. Everyone was kind and we all made new friends. Marco and Antonio made the ride to and from extra fun and memorable. We highly recommend them.

This was a good tour with a stop in Siena and at 2 vineyards in Chianti. Lunch was very good and the settings were spectacular. Interesting tour as well. Thomass was an excellent driver.

Our guide Jason was great, he was able to get a tired group up & into the experience. Very knowledgeable guide with a lot of charisma. Of course all of the wine was spectacular!

Great trip on our vacation from America. Lorenzo was great and provided information with humor. Vincenzo did a great job driving through the countryside. These guys were our favorite tour guys on all the excursions we attended. Thank you Zo and Vince.

Leonardo was a fantastic guide and driver. The experience was phenomenal and we were so happy we made the trip. Wine was fantastic and the location/views were amazing.

After having a fantastic experience taking Daytrip from Arezzo to Venice we decided to do the same from Venice to Florence. We were originally concerned about having to deal with our oversized luggage on the train and found Daytrip made the issues go away. On our trip we stopped at a beautiful little castle Monselice for 90 minutes. Our driver, Claudio Z, was very relaxed, kind and interested in what we had saw as he had not been there before. He made the trip fly by and we appreciated the ease it was to find him at the very busy drop off in Venice, and even a short coffee break was an easy and enjoyable excursion. Again we say make Daytrip a part of your travel plans. The clean, comfortable, luxurious car takes the struggle of travel with luggage and makes it go away.

The experience was amazing with Leo. He was very informative and witty. He explained about the Italian Chianti wine and it was very easy to understand. Loved everything about the trip and would definitely come again and use Prestige Rent.

Our driver, Mario was wonderful. Could not ask for a better driver or winery experience!! Stopped in Siena, bought beautiful Italian leather products. Stopped at Fattoria Sant Appiano Cantina for wine tasing and lunch! Last winery was Fattoria Montecchio, so beautiful and great wine. We purchased from both wineries. We love Mario, so pleasant and comfortable to talk to, made us feel so welcome and had great suggestions for dinner in Florence! Cannot wait to see Mario when we come back!!
