  We went to Cyprus to do our AOW. With Alpha Divers we found a very good diving school for this. Communication from home went smoothly. On site, we were able to find that an extremely high value is placed on good, functioning and flawless equipment. Super! After 3 dives on the first day at different dive sites came the highlight on the second day with the Zenobia. A wonderful place to fulfill wreck and deep diving. The whole team was very attentive and could clarify all questions and thus give a good sense of security.

  Truly amazing 5 days of technical diving on the Zenobia with Alpha Divers Larnaca. Right from initial contact Chris’s 20 years of extensive knowledge of the Zenobia wreck shone through plus Alpha Divers operate the only boat with a diver lift in Cyprus! After our complementary airport pickup our week started off the following day with an external orientation deco dives on the Zen plus penetration of the Elpida wreck site. We then progressed to a series of advanced penetration dives on the middle cargo deck, captains quarters, accommodation block, cafeteria, chain locker, pilots hatch etc and culminated in penetration of main and auxiliary engine rooms. Typically 45-50 min bottom time on NX28 and 15-20 mins of deco on 100% O2. Chris’s enthusiasm for the Zen and passion for the operation he runs is clear for all to see. Nothing is too much trouble and a drop tank is deployed on every boat dive. The Kalypso had a mixture of tech and recreational divers onboard but there was still way more room than on the crowed taxi boats that are forced to shuttle back and forth in between dives to get gas fills. Not us we had a fresh twin set of NX28 already onboard for every dive. The diver lift is a game changer as you really don’t want to exert yourself climbing a ladder after a long decompression dive. Unfortunately my Buddy managed to nick his dry suit on day 2 but rather than bodge an overnight repair Chris and his partner Paul provided a replacement Otter Britannic dry suit at zero cost. How’s that for amazing customer service and going above and beyond…! My Buddy and I stayed at Alpha Divers apartment in Larnaka which has two twin rooms and a sofa bed, Netflix, Nespresso machine, kitchen but better still a plumbed in water machine that filters, chills and purifies water. I never knew such a machine existed but what an absolute god send. We will definitely return in the near future…

  We have been wanting to visit Larnaca and dive the Zenobia wreck since 2020 when our first attempt to visit was cancelled by the Pandemic, then we got sick last year (2024) and had to cancel again, so we were really pleased to get there! It's always difficult to choose a dive centre in a new place so naturally we looked at trip advisor and Alpha Divers looked to have amazing reviews. I am happy to confirm that the reviews were backed up 100% by our visit. This is one of the best centres we have ever visited around the world. From the first moment we spoke with the owner, Chris we were impressed. His candor and no bull approach was welcome and clear from the start that safety was a big priority. This is something we look for carefully. We hadn't dived for 6 months, so Chris had suggested a couple of easy shore dives to get us back in the swing of things before heading of the the wrecks. Such a good call. Over the week we were with 3 Instructors, Julian, Bina & Manuel all were amazing. They understood our abilities and tailored dives accordingly to suit. We were picked up from our hotel everyday which was a bonus saving us the walk or short taxi ride. At the end of the day our kit was looked after by the team, we didn't touch it all week! its as close as you can get to consierge diving here! If you're reading this review... In short don't go anywhere else! you will not be disappointed no matter what level diver you are from full tech to basic entry level. Wonderful people, Wonderful dive centre.

  It has been nearly 2 years for us as a family of 3, repeatedly coming to Cyprus to dive with Alpha Divers We started coming just to see Zenobia and wow, we realised that it's one of the greatest wreck diving spots in the world What makes Alpha Divers different is that they progress divers to better divers, but not only They have the best rental equipment not only in Cyprus, it is the best gear we have ever encountered it the world all over We started as simple AOW divers and gradually progressed through deep, wreck drysuit, DPV, sidemount and Tec 40 courses We have nearly 20 dives on Zenobia now and we will be still coming for another 20 Thanks to Chris, Paul and all the helpful staff in the dive center we are now diving in the winter, with 3 tanks and drysuit, penetrating this huge and beautiful wreck and feel safe, comfortable and supported Keep in mind this is the only center in Cyprus with a proper dive lift installed at the back of their boat The photo attached is in the first days of February 2025, water temperature is 18-19, air temperature was 20-22 during the day The dive shop is extremelly well stocked, you can find or order most X-Deep products, best regs, undersuits and boots from Mares, Apeks fins, Shearwater computers etc. If you want to become a better diver, if you want to try wing backplate BCD, sidemount, if you want to start penetrating huge wrecks in a safe manner - this is the place you can do it all They have a new speedboat that you can do 4-5 dives in one day as a mini-diving-safary Alpha Divers, thank you! I am coming again in 2 months time!

  A retired military brother and I returned to the island of Cyprus for the first time in 31 years. One of our main goals was to dive the Zenobia shipwreck. I took considerable time reviewing the available Dive companies and sent emails to several. Chris Martin of Alpha Divers in Larnaca was the first to answer me. From that point- I had a chain of several emails, trying to piece together a dive itinerary from the other side of the world in Canada. Chris was polite, professional and answered all emails immediately. Being former military members, we certainly have what I will call "quiet expectations" with regards to professionalism and safety. Over the two days we dove with Alpha Divers, we quickly made observations that our quiet expectations were certainly met with an extremely high standard. Chris and his crew worked extremely diligently at all aspects from boat operation, equipment management, safety briefings to safely guiding dives that prioritized diver safety. It is without hesitation, that I recommend Chris Martin and his crew at Alpha Divers in Larnaca for all of your diving needs when you visit the beautiful island of Cyprus.   Another week of amazing diving with Chris and his Alpha Divers team. If you want to dive the Zenobia these are the guys to look after you. Progression from check out dives to middle cargo deck ensures competence and safety! We will be back
